Your tune has gotten old and you are nothing more than a one trick singing pony - one whose songs starts with whine and ends in byatch. Go support another team you sissy. This team is for the hardened and true.

Sir, Kings fans come in many colors. Perhaps we can find the tolerance in our hearts to welcome all Kings fans - no matter how dispirited they may currently be? Besides feeding the negativity with more negativity is not a sustainable strategy for raising enthusiasm [and not too entertaining either]. :-)

Kings will be first round fodder against either San Jose or Vancouver. They can beat Detroit, Phoenix, Nashville. This is a must win game if they want to get out of the first round. Go Kings Go!

Well.... maybe i'm not that easy to entertain.
I'm a lifetime supporter and i want a cup in my lifetime.
With expectations like that you see Murray as the wrong guy at the wrong time.
Even Stoll should be kept away from any offensive effords not to mention the PP.

I'm happy for you that you are so easy entertained by some clowns running around in coloured shirts and some free giveaway bobbleheads.
I wish that would be enough for me.

Got my tix, PR18! Haven't been to a game since Feb and I'm pumped for this one. If Ellis is starting, there is no way that guy puts together two good games in a row. The Kings have to cash in on a PP tonight if they want to beat the ducks. It starts with more traffic in front of Ellis. They're gonna need Simmonds, Clifford, Lewis and Ponikarovsky, hell even Westgarth, to make sure they make life uncomfortable for the ducks goalie tonight. If they do that enough at even strength, then I think they'll find they have some room for their shooters up top when they get a PP.

Don't give yourself too much credit. You have it easy. It is harder to be fan, recognize the shortcomings and battle through them. To cheer the team on when they are not playing well, to get a Go Kings chant going when the game's momentum has shifted away from us and may not return. You think tearing down the team with your words makes you hard or not easy to entertain. It doesn't. All it shows is your lack of courage, your lack of commitment and you taking the easy way out. You are no soldier. You are just a spoiled brat who knows nothing of loyalty or inspiration.

The dispirited can check their balls at the door. The Kings need their fan base to cheer loud and support the team through thick and thin. Can we criticize? Sure. Even lament from time to time. But when someone who considers themselves a fan does nothing but whine at even the slightest of the team's digressions, they are a fraud, nothing more than a troll posing as a fan.

I am a Kings fan....

I've been one for many years.
I've cheered through a Stanley Cup final with disappointing results
I've cheered through the McNall years of uncertainty.
I've cheered through the up and down Dave Taylor/Andy Murray years.
And I have cheered this team through the last 2 years of success and disappointment.
And I will cheer for this team no matter who we play in the playoffs because the Kings are in the playoffs.
I didn't start cheering when they won the Cup as others have and I will be here no matter what happens. We know most of that other teams fans wouldn't even be hockey fans if they endured what we have.
I will be here, cheering my team.

So, two straight 46 win seasons, which has NEVER happened in Kings history, dictates that Murray is the wrong guy? I would love to read your reasons why you think that Murray is the wrong guy. Please, enlighten us all.

San Jose playing to clinch 2nd in the West=guaranteed win
St. Louis closing out at home=guaranteed win

... I think I'll start a thread after the game about where this season stands in the context of Kings' history. It'll be something to keep my mind occupied until the playoffs start

Wont be able to catch the game tonight, doing something a bit more important.

Hopefully they stay healthy, play hard and build some momentum and chemistry for the playoffs. It sure would have been fun to have had a chance to end their season tonight, but oh well.

Go Kings
Go Blue

Since Oscar Time won me money in the Grand National today, that is fate that Oscar will score a hat trick tonight

I will admit that i go back and forth on terry murray. But he has helped to make the Kings into a 2 time playoff team now. I know its not something to be content on, but it is something to be happy about. It had been 8 years since this team had made the playoffs. 8 long years. 8 years in which no other coach was able to get us to the playoffs.

Terry Murray, although I dont agree with the offense, has been able to batton down the hatches defensively with this team. We have a defense that can compete with the best of them, which is very important to the success of the team. I honestly dont think the team has enough firepower to keep up with teams such as SJ or Van with just offense alone.

I truly believe the defense first, conservative approach is whats best for this team. This team has no one capable of scoring 50 goals, 1 player capable of a 40 goal season, and maybe 2 or 3 guys capable of 30 goal seasons. you have to play to your strengths in order to win. I would love to see the Kings be able to average 3-4 goals a game, but that all hinges on the development of Schenn, Kozun, Toffoli, and Vey. Hopefully down the road the Kings will be a dominant offensive force, but for now this is what we have.

The biggest change the kings need to make in the offseason is KOMPON. Our power play is horrible.
