Pronger waiting to unleash the beast... also according to their board they think shutting down the briere line will win them the series.... I guess they havent heard of claude giroux, and the rest of the team for that matter haha... their only hope is us playing like ****. I dont think miller can hold it down with us playing top notch

Sabres - best record in the east in the second half of the season, gonna be tough, also coming into the series on a 4 game win streak...gonna be close

Sabres just know more how lethal Briere can be in the playoffs, so he's more scary to them....

Honestly I dont really look into how good they have been playing, this is a fresh start for both teams, and flyers will have the same fate as their opponent now, their desperation will ratchet up

If the Flyers are on their game; they're pretty much unbeatable. But I do fear how hot the Sabres are coming into the playoffs. Aren't they like 10-1-3 in their last 14? () that's crazy...

Anyways, I hope Prongs is 100% and goes in beast mode when the series starts.

Amen. I have hated that little piece of **** for a very long time, almost glad I get to hate him once again this week. Here's to hoping NHL playoff style makes him cry in a corner.

Bob starts and if he falters Boosh will be in is what I fully expect. Its how Lavi rolled Gerber and Ward during Carolina's run to the finals and how he has seemed to coach the Flyers. Ride the hot hand.

28-11-6 since Dec. 28.
Sabres have a huge edge in net but Flyers are bigger and stronger. Miller is healthy.
Much of this series will be whether refs are calling penalties because you know Philly is going to try to beat Buffalo up. Plus, even if Sabres get powerplays, Flyers will pound them if they can't score on those opportunities.
Philly has big strong, tough talented wingers and the Sabres defence is not deep and depleted without Leopold.
To me that's the key. If Philly overwhelms Buffalo's defense, the series will be over quickly. Myers can only play so many minutes.
Your goaltending, to me, is a wildcard.

Flyers in 5. Only slightly more concerned about this than I was about the Devils series. Miller could certainly Halak us, but Brodeur could have too, and the best team usually wins. And as long as my avatar is true ;-), the Flyers are the best team on the ice.

Guessing NBC will not want this series over WSH/NYR, so I expect Th-Sa, but the official announcement isn't until 10pm tomorrow.

Don't the Sixers play at home on Wednesday? If so, I'm guessing Th-Sat in Philly, and M-Wed in Buffalo.

About half the series will go on-off-on-off all the way through, and the other half will have 2 days off in there some where or have a back to back to make things work for TV better.

Pretty good chance it's Mon/Wed in Buffalo, assuming the arena isn't tied up, but not for sure.

This makes sense, because it's kinda gay.

Sorry, too easy. All in good playoff fun.
