Thank you. I just hope it's San Jose.

If LA had faced Nashville, we would be favored to win.

Nashville has an amazing coach. We do not. They play in a great system. We do not.

Were any of those teams coached by Murray? Did any of them employ the dump and pray as their primary offensive strategy?

I agree that the Kings have the players to upset a team in the playoffs, just not the coaching or system to get it done.

With Murray at the helm and no Kopitar, it will take 4 perfect games by the goalie to win a series. Kopitar has been Murray's saving grace and he is done for the year. Without him, the Kings can't generate enough goals with the current style. Kopitar is just too important to Murray's system, he is missed on offense and defense.

Did anyone really, honestly expect anything different without Kopitar and Williams? Sure, I thought without Williams they could still win a round or 2. When Kopitar went down I thought, "Sure they could still win at least 1 round with a solid defense.". Now, reality has set in, and this team ain't going no where without there top player, and a 100% second top point getter.
God bless them for their efforts, but the talent is just NOT there. Settle in for those 4 or 5 playoff games, and a long summer. That's just the reality of it. It sucks. Why the hell couldn't it of been Westgarth instead of Kopitar? Damn you hockey gods!!!

Hey guys,
1) Whats the update on Kopitar and Williams (will they be back for playoffs?)
2)Who is usually more tougher to play against Ducks or Canucks?

As a Canuck fan I hope we don't get you guys, Quick is capable of stealing a series. We want the hawks to get the monkey off the back.

It's the same freaking system for crying out loud....

They have scored 1 more goal, and yet are predicted to upset, granted, they won't be playing Vancouver etc, actually I think they are playing either Detroit or Anaheim...

Nashville plays the same boring defense first system. I love the fact no one has pointed out that Totz has never had a team passed the first round. Even with talents like Rudolov and Forsberg.

You guys act like Totz and Tippet have multiple Stanley cups.

This guy named Craig MacTavish got a team all the way to the Finals. I don't think Oiler fans were very fond of him at all. Hell they didn't even have a goaltender. We'll see what happens. I'm not going to make any assumptions personally. What we need is for Doughty and Johnson to start eating minutes like they are capable of. That's the most important thing. Not goalscoring.

Kopitar? Won't see him until next season, even if the Kings go 4 rounds. He's done for the season. Williams will probably be back for the playoffs, but won't be 100%.

As a Kings fan, are you playing with us?

They had Roloson playing out of his mind. THAT is the reason they got to the finals.

LOL......talk about limping into the playoffs.....we are lucky to be there at all, regardless of who our first round opponent is. It's the PERFECT setup for the cinderella cup run to come.

Come on Williams....if it hurts, LIE and say it feels great!

I feel bad about the Canucks. They're gonna sweep us, but Kesler or one of the Sedins is gonna get injured.

Notice the Kings can only muster to score 1 goal against better teams? One goal scored in each game versus Anaheim, one goal against San Jose, one goal against Vancouver.

Why does everyone think Schenn is the answer? They guy is headlining a team in Junior that is choking. The guy captained a Team Canada WJC team to the biggest choke of all time.

Schenn is years away from being any kind of an impact in the NHL. Look at Taylor Hall, Seguin, etc. Schenn is no Skinner.

I hope it's all 3. Lets add Burrows in the mix as well.

Oh God, I'm gonna have to deal with Canucks fans again this post season. My brothers, and sister in laws are all Canucks fans. Add in about 95% of the people I work with are Canuck bandwagon fans

You do realize that if that happens and Dallas beats Minnesota, that Vancouver plays Dallas and you LA plays SJ? You think SJ is a better matchup for you now than Van?
