We need Harts to crash the net a few times per game. I hate when he does it, but Miller is seriously amazing.

We need to take advantage of our size. Really crash the net hard and hit everyone on their team.

I think he'll be fine. It's kind of like the Washington game where he got pulled and came back strong. I mean, he basically stood on his head to keep the team in the game on Friday in the third period.

I'm feeling Flyers in six, but this is no doubt going to be a tough series.

The only potential bottom seeds that didn't worry me at all were Carolina and Montreal and both of those were long-shots to begin with.

Any of the 4-8 seeds can surprise and upset some of the top4 teams in the 1st round but I really can't see anyone of 'em reach the ECFs.

I feel that we'll be back on track when the series starts, because now it's actually time to begin what we've worked for all year long.

Every season there's upsets. There will undoubtedly be at least one this season in the East. Just can't make a judgment either way though until we see if the Flyers are capable of just flipping a switch like many think they can.

Sabres in 6 unfortunately. Us beating ourselves the usual culprit once again like it has been for half the year.

Just to inform you guys, Jordan Leopold will be back near the end of the series. Also, a very minor chance Derek Roy will also be back game 6 or 7.

Its not even about "flipping a switch" it is about finally having the same fate as the other team. There is no coincidence teams like buffalo, carolina, rangers, leafs have had some of the better records in the east over the past 20; they have needed to win and their desperation has been cranked up. Now that we are in the same position i expect flyers to come out swinging.

Think about this flyers had gone on a long streak of never losing back to back games, and only a couple losing skids, if we come out with some determination and drive like they did last year, and like I expect them to, do you really think sabres are going to beat us 4 times in a 7 game series? Good luck sabres.

Hopefully not, for us, of course.

Don't worry about Roy - realistic timetable is mid-May for him. Unless this is a 19-game series, he's not playing.

Playoff Coburn 2.0 and Playoff Meszaros 1.0 will be a thing of beauty.

Be warned Buffalo, we now hit things.

I won't wish you folk luck, but I do hope it's a nice, fun, intense hockey series (which I think it will be).

Cheers

One thing that pissed me off about the OT loss to Buffalo, was because we could have sent an early playoff message with a strong game.

Now Buffalo has confidence, that they can erase deficits and still win the game, while the Flyers know they can blow leads and lose the game.

Not saying this will happen, but I really wished we would have played some inspired hockey for a full 60min that night. Especially after the GM meeting.

This should be a good series. I hated the Sabres for a long time because it seemed like we played them every year in the playoffs from 95-06. Hopefully Briere has a big series against his former mates.

After Boucher came in cold off the bench and only gave up 1 goal? That's exactly the type of thing Lavy should have been looking for from him.

Anyone think Kaleta will have any effect in this series? The Flyers haven't really been thrown off of their game by a pest in a playoff series in a long time, just wondering if this guy has that capability of effecting an entire game.
