Is it safe to say Bobby Butler is a top 6 forward?

Butler actually really reminds me of Mariusz Czerkawski. Both have unreal shots with some good hands, and their shoot speed makes no sense compared to their size. Both are relatively fast players, but neither is very strong on their feet. When given creative opportunity, Czerkawski was a 35g/35a all-star. I see Butler as a little more defensively responsible, but I think that might be the best comparison.

Yes, that was implied. But...it's also possible that he still drops to us. Even still, let's say that we don't get him.

Perron/Little - Spezza - Butler
Michalek - Couturier/Strome - Alfredsson
Greening - Da Costa - Silfverberg
Winchester - Smith - Neil

Still looks pretty good to me.

Depending who we draft, and based on gathered opinions and stats from our youngins' in Sweeden (AP, Silfverberg), does anyone expect one of these 2 guys, have a sense that they'll be more 'primed' for NHL play? As in more ready the highest level more than anyone of Lando/Couts/Strome/Hubie?

Honest question lol

I m thinking Costa and our draft pick (if not Lando) will be starting in the AHL next year.

AP no way. Out of the six players you have mentioned, the order of probably NHL "readiness" is:
Lando/Couts
-------------
Strome
-------------
Hubie/Silfverberg
------
------
------
------
AP

I have a good/bad feeling we are not going to pick 5th, either everyone will hate us and we get the 1st or we drop to 6th and we all get depressed.

The only one that would be able to go to the AHL is Larsson. Everyone else is NHL or CHL.
