Really hope Dallas makes it.
If we don't get Richards it will suck. It's bad I know but I think his acquisition could bring us to the promise land soon. BR, King, Packline, young D and Gabby from last yr would make us a contender

Definitely, I don't get why some people on this board don't want Richards. This isn't a Drury/Redden situation, Richards is still one of the best centers in the league and will be for a few years. And he's a great PP QB to boot.

Some Habs fans still think they won the Gomez trade.

Best chance of Richards not re-signing in Dallas is if Chicago gets that playoff spot, imo.

Where?

Dallas must win by the end of OT, if anyone cares.

Could make for a really awkward shootout if they don't.

They'd have to pull their goalie before it gets to the SO. I think I'd really enjoy seeing that, but I just want Minnesota to win.

EDIT: He's referring to a poster on the NHL board in the "should the Habs send Gomez to the AHL" thread.

Wow Minny.

Dallas is gonna wind up having to pull the goalie to tie the game than pull the goalie again in OT to win the game

Definitely exciting.

I didn't think Minnesota had much to play for, but the subtext of Minnesota team eliminating team that abandoned Minnesota from the playoffs at the 24th hour is pretty intriguing.

i would be surprised if Dallas doesn't tie it. I realize they have to do better than that, but they sure look capable of it here.

Main boards/Gomez thread. Although most have seemingly come to accept the fact that they got hosed. Still hilarious that anyone could believe they won that trade.

LOL at Minnesota celebrating like it's Game 7 of the Stanley Cup.

Big win and shocking loss for DAL though.

Clearly, Nieuwendyk should've traded us Richards when he could've gotten "something" in return!

You could argue that is a plus for the whole Richards situation.

We won't know if Joe should've traded until we see if he re-signs.

This bodes well for us trying to sign Richards.

Dallas misses playoffs.

Leafs miss playoffs.

Rangers make playoffs.

Go get him Slats!
