Hmmmm... according to the main board playoff section CBC is covering our series (along with van, mtl, pit)

Wednesday, April 13 at Pittsburgh, 7:00 p.m.

That game is same time as our first game.
I wonder how CBC will split the regional coverage on this one

I have to miss Game 2 because of work No way of switching my schedule around for that since I have to close or no one gets paid. At least I can switch my Wednesday around.

For those of you in Canada or US Cities along the border, CBC will be carrying the Detroit/Phoenix series.

A game one win and then Z returning for game two would be the ideal situation. If its not as serious as the Wings and Z made the injury out to be then 10 days seems like enough time to get healthy.

Wings in 6 cause we suck at home. Should be able to take all 3 out in Phoenix.

There's a good reason for that, as they've paired him with guys who like to jump into the play, so he has to cover routine mistakes by Keith Yandle and Ed Jovanovski. In many respects, Aucoin has had his best season.

And as per usual, we get shafted with these ridiculous matinee times for Saturday (1:00pm) in order for what, the Penguins to play at prime time?

Fantastic work NHL.

Someone wanna look up our matinee game record the last 5-6 years?

Anyone with some photoshop skills care to take a little time and slap a Wings sweater on " Epic Win " for my avatar , I can resize after. I didn't want to make a thread asking and thank you in advance if someone would be so kind.

Wings in 5 , Let's get Z back!

I am shocked...

That mindfly didn't select Phoenix in 4.

I'm hoping Detroit in 5, for travel purposes, but i usually don't pick any Detroit series in less than 6 games.

Be serious. Smith inserted out of nowhere..in the playoffs? Not happening.

I dont think its going to be easy at all. Phoenix play the sort of game that troubles the Wings. Last year it went to Seven. Are we that much better than last year? Are they that much worse? I dont think so.

I, as the most posters, say the Wings in 6. The Wings might surprise and take it in 5 though.
I assume we will start the series with Kronwall back, but not Zetterberg. It will be good to have Eaves back as well.

Obviously our PP and PK have to be good/better than during the regular season.
