Restricted Free Agents
Josh Bailey Want to see him back...will be back...need to see much more effort/focus...possible trade chip
Kyle Okposo Want him back/will be back ... want much more nastiness and edge from KO...learn to finish better
Jesse Joensuu Dont think he will be back. I'd only want him on two way...too inconsistent
Michael Grabner will be back...give him 3 year deal @ 3.5
Blake Comeau will be back...liked what I saw from him...needs more....intrigued by him at Center for the couple of games.
Micheal Haley want him back as 4th line C
Ty Wishart Liked TW actually a lot more than I expected to. Good upside
Bruno Gervais By-by Bruno unless team needs a cook.
Dylan Reese - Two way depth guy only
Jack Hillen - Last two months he played way better...may not be enough

Unrestricted Free Agents
Doug Weight - gone
Zenon Konopka - gone - I like Z but I think he is one and done.
Trevor Gillies - gone - thank you for watching these guys backs this year.
Radek Martinek - I'd like to see him back 2 yr deal but probably gone too.

Restricted Free Agents
Bailey- He'll be back. Hopefully he can break out this year.
Okposo- Keep him. He needs to be more consistent and finish more. I'd like to see him play physical also.
Joensuu- I don't think he'll be back. If he is, he'll probably be in Bridgeport to start the year.
Grabner- Sign him to a two or three year deal. Moulson scored 30 goals his first year with the Isles and did the same this year. I'd like to see that from Grabner.
Comeau- Want Comeau back. I think his play was fine this year but he could do more.
Haley- Fan favorite. I'd like to see him back and play on the 3rd/4th line.
Wishart- He suprised me when he came up and he looked good. I'd like to see how he could improve next year.
Gervais- I think Bruno is gone. He doesn't have a big role anymore for the team.
Reese- I think will go. Not really much room other then being a guy that could fill in.
Hillen- I like what I see from Hillen. He'll be back and maybe we could have a Hillen/Hamonic pairing or something like that.

Unrestricted Free Agents
Weight- He'll retire. I'd like to see him maybe get a coaching job on the Isles.
Konopka- Wont rule out a re-signing, but I don't think it will happen.
Gillies- He's gone. Not really any need for him.
Martinek- I want him back but not a 100% must need. Could go either way.

Josh Bailey - Snow's project, not letting him go anywhere
Kyle Okposo - Possibly future captain, not going anywhere
Jesse Joensuu - Don't want him in the NHL, if he's signed to an AHL contract that'll be ok
Michael Grabner - I'm thinking he gets a 4yr/9mil extension
Blake Comeau - Hopefully we give him a nice 2-3yr extension. I really like him and don't want to see him leave, but if we have a trade opportunity we can't pass up and he's a part of it, he has to go.
Micheal Haley - Making Avery Bleed gets him a well deserved spot on the 4th line
Ty Wishart - 2 Way contract, start him in BP and if anybody goes down bring him up
Bruno Gervais - Bye
Dylan Reese - Same as Joensuu
Jack Hillen - Start him as a third pairing D-man, his job to lose

Unrestricted Free Agents
Doug Weight - Go do office work
Zenon Konopka - Keep
Trevor Gillies - As much as he may hurt us, he gives us everything that he has and I'm sure the rest of the locker room loves him. Sign him to a cheap 1 year contract
Radek Martinek - Difficult choice, I love him when he's healthy, but its time for him to go

Kyle Okposo - Re-sign, too young, not going anywhere.
Jesse Joensuu - 2 way deal or no deal
Michael Grabner - Re-sign, too young, not going anywhere.
Blake Comeau - Re-sign, progressing nicely in a 3rd line role.
Micheal Haley - Re-sign, adds toughness that the big club needs.
Ty Wishart - Re-sign, needs a little more BP time to develop.
Bruno Gervais - Won't be missed
Dylan Reese - Won't be missed
Jack Hillen - Won't be missed

Unrestricted Free Agents
Doug Weight - retired
Zenon Konopka - Re-sign I hope.

Bailey- Wait and see if he blossoms. If not, use him as trade bait
Grabner- Do I really even need to explain this
Comeau- Has shown he has a bit of a scoring touch
Haley- Great fighter, and can score a little too
Wishart- If he develops into a solid D-man, he could be very good
Hillen- A good depth d-man, with a good offensive side as well

Konopka- Voice of team, and a great enforcer
Martinek-a depth d-man. He has given his all for this organization, don't see why we shouldn't reward him.

Josh Bailey - Qualified to start. 11 goals in nearly 3 more minutes a game than Grabner... See if he accepts qualifier, then go from there.
Kyle Okposo - Either sign him to a one-year qualifier so he can get over this season or Offer him the four year team-friendly deals that Nielsen and McDonald got, at 2x the value in recognition of his 58 pt season last year and 1st round pick status.
Jesse Joensuu - Resign as a 2-way contract or move on.
Michael Grabner - Offer four years at 3 million.
Blake Comeau - Resign at 2/3s of Moulson's contract.
Micheal Haley - Sign up at a bit over league minimum on 2-yr deal
Ty Wishart - Qualify
Bruno Gervais - Cut ties
Dylan Reese - Qualify
Jack Hillen - Qualify

Unrestricted Free Agents
Doug Weight - Retire
Zenon Konopka - Cut ties. Sorry, but the league has been pretty obvious about the need for the Isles to clean up their act, and with Matt Martin, Haley and Hamonic around to throw down, Konopka isn't as valuable to us, and may in fact be detrimental.
Trevor Gillies - Gone, or AHL contract
Radek Martinek - I'd love to see him on a one-year deal, but this is his chance to cash in, and we have too many players in this mold to offer a big deal.

Josh Bailey - resign 1 year deal to prove himself
Kyle Okposo - resign 1 year to prove himself
Jesse Joensuu - only resign if he accepts 2 way deal
Michael Grabner - 3 year contract
Blake Comeau - 3 year contract(2M), I think he has proven the type of player he is and deserves a little more security
Micheal Haley - 1 year 2 way
Ty Wishart - 1 year 2 way deal
Bruno Gervais - gone
Dylan Reese - 1 year 2 way
Jack Hillen - look to trade for late pick, if not only resign if he signs 2 way

Doug Weight - retire
Zenon Konopka - resign 1 year deal, I like what he brings to the team off the ice
Trevor Gillies - resign and only keep as 23rd roster player for certain games
Radek Martinek - resign 1 year deal, we need as much depth on defense as possible, seems willing to stay

Surprised by how many want to retain Marty. I like his game, but he's a prime example of raising the bar. Use that money towards a better, more reliable top-4 D man.

RFA's

Josh Bailey - keep, too young to give up on, but he has been a major disappointment, not sure if he will be much in the NHL

Kyle Okposo - definite keep, he will be healthy next year, he really is like Michael Peca meets Pat Flatley.

Jesse Joensuu - Bridgeport, if they don't sign Konopka then he could be a 4th liner.

Michael Grabner - obvious keep

Blake Comeau - obvious keep, he will get that 60 point season next year

Michael Haley - keep, this is a solid 4th line guy

Ty Wishart - 2 way deal, should be in the 9/10 pairing with Katic

Bruno Gervais - no use for him

Dylan Reese - always high on him, he had a good finish, struggled when paired with Bruno. I like him in the 7/8 pairing with Hillen. He can put up points.

Jack Hillen - I'd keep in the 7/8 pairing, as he seemed to play his way back into favor

UFA's

Doug Weight - retired already
Zenon Konopka - if a deal could be made on the cheap, should resign.
Trevor Gillies - I think he has more fan appeal than most of the Isles, so I would keep and just dress up against rivals.
Radek Martinek - like him, but he has to go, we were lucky he was less injured this year, and we have a lot of dmen under contract and still want a shot at Pitkanen or Brewer.

Wishart is no longer waiver exempt. He'd have to clear waivers in order to be called up/sent-down.
