Now Is The Time- Trotz Should Win The Adams

As critical as I've been, an ineffective power play should not discount what Trotz and his staff have achieved.

Now is the time, Trotz should win the Adams

I think he's a good nominee. Don't think its better than what he did in 06-07 with that gang of scrubs. If he didn't win it taking that team with all the drama to the playoffs, I don't see him winning it this year.

It seems like they have already given it to Bylsma for playing without Crosby and Malkin, but another solid job by Trotz and his staff.

I think you mean 07-08. We were Cup contenders in 06-07.

which just would prove media bias.

Pens still had Crosby racking up points for half the season and so finishing 4th in a crummy Eastern conference that really only has 4 truly great teams is some big accomlishment??

We lost our putative #1 center after game TWO. And we went without our presumed top line winger(Sully) for most of the season. And we went what, 14 games without our Vezina caliber goalie?

and we finished 2nd in a division that has two of the last 3 cup winners.

Ok, looking at Wiki so might not be accurate. Trotz is top 20 for games coached all-time, he's top 20 wins all-time. Next year if not fired he should pass 1000 games coached and put him in the top 15. Same with wins if he keeps up his usual pace.

He's due, just like this team is DUE.

don't forget most thought dumont would have at least 30-40 points as well. granted he has been scratched and 4th lined most of the year, but, he was a main cog going into the year
