Habs-Bruins Series Discussion

Ok I know we should all believe and that's ok with me!

But be unbiased, be objective, be reasonable.

How does it end?

I love my Habs but Bruins in 5 for me...

Edit: haven't seen a poll yet, delete if unneeded.

If the Habs play the speed game and not try and match Bostons physical style, then I would say we have a chance, but if we dont and lose the first 2 in Boston it will be over in 5.

I have no idea.
It's either Bruins in 4 or Habs in 7
I'm prepared for both scenarios.

I say we take game one, they take game two... a real crushing.

Same **** happens game 3. Game 4 we wake the **** up, Thomas gives a few soft ones and we get in his head from there on out. Game 6 they put Rask in after two garbage performances by Tim "Vezina" Thomas and he gets crushed.

We move on to face Buffalo.

Book it.

Tha't the key,

I see us losing the first 2 games easily, bouncing back and winning game 3, losing game 4 in OT and then a bloodbath in Boston for game 5. game over.

But I really really hope they prove me wrong, once more. You never ever know with this team. Down 1-3 vs the Caps they had no chance but we all know what happened.

Hab's fundamentals are stronger than Boston's, who rely far too much on Thomas playing over his head.

Habs in 6.

I don't mean to be a dick because I could be 110% wrong, but is it even possible for us to face Buffalo? Isn't it reseeded after every round?

This year I really can't say.

Last year I had had a hunch that Montreal could do it. This year, it literally can go either way.

I say either team in 6.

Can you put undecided in the poll?

I went with Bruins in 6. As much as I would love the Habs to win, they have not seem to be the same team once Pacioretty went down.....

If the Rangers beat the Caps.

Habs (6) - Buffalo (7)
Rangers (8) - Pitts or TB (4 or 5)

Yes indeed.

I have the following picks:

WAS (1) vs NYR (8)

PHI (2) vs BUF (7)

BOS (3) vs MTL (6)

PIT (4) vs TBL (5)

Which would lead to:

PIT (4) vs NYR (8)
MTL (6) vs BUF (7)

The best case scenario is habs come home with a 2-0 lead. Habs lead 2-0 its done for Boston. Having to play in mtl will not be easy. Having to deal with the pressure from their fans, city and journalists loll. Having to deal with us crazy habs fans yelling at them, our annoying journalists getting under julien and chara the captain skins. Oh men that would be perfect. We all know Boston ainT really strong mentally.

Anyway habs in 6, i was right last year with habs beating the caps and pens and losing against the flyers so i hope this year i'll be right again.

Bruins in 5. They are a better team and better suited to playoff hockey as it stands now. I see Price playing well, but not stealing the series.

To me game 1 is going to be the most important game. Easily.

If Montreal can overcome the Pacioretty game+the last game they got skunked and pull out a win in Boston in Game 1.. I don't think it's out of the question we can win the series in 6 or 7. However, that being said, if we lose game 1 and it's by a significant amount I'm going to say lights out and Bruins take it in 5 with 6 being the max.

Personnaly i think Boston in 5

Pros
24-8 series

Cons
Injuries
Mental intimidation.
Better Team in all departement
They lost a 3-0 lead. They are frustrated and so want to win

thats my unbiased evaluation.
