It absolutely is their time to shine. But I have a feeling Martinez will step up too. IMO, he's been far more intelligent offensively than both DD and JJ, and I think he'll surprise some people during the series.

Doughty will have to step up to ensure we can win this series....he has to be better than Boyle. as for johnson...just play defense and don't be a minus player

I'm curious how he is more intelligent offensively? I love Martinez, but honestly, he has no creativity. He waits for the puck to get to him and he shoots it in. He doesn't get pressured so he has time to send an accurate shot to the goalie. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, in fact that's great, but how is that intelligent offensive play from a dman?

Doughty and Johnson need to maintain this path. They are by far and away the keys to our success. They are the main players on the team right now aside from Quick, and all three of them need to be running on all cylinders if we expect to win some more hockey games here. I know they can do it. GO KINGS!
