Hehe well I'm lucky with the game time here in Taiwan and I don't work in the mornings.
i pretty much have a north american rhythm during the hockey season. go to bed at around 10-11pm EST and get up at 6am EST. (4-5am -> noon)
hockey games in the morning sounds interesting though. i can watch replays on espn america in the morning though.
As for lineup I'm not sure, but I think Sully and Erat are both in.
is geoffrion a lock or could he be the odd man out?
i miss my fellow countryman on your team. he would help a lot now.
Wilsons scratched from what ive heard, Dumont in his place.
If so, i will be furious
Wilson is scratched. Dumont is too. Read the lineup(s) posted above.
Wilson has needed to sit for about two months now, but we've never been healthy enough to do it. Tonight is the healthiest the team's been probably since game 7 this season. Trotz has the option to send a message and let him watch Game 1 and that's what he is doing.
Dumont is a shell of himself. He's likely going to be the first Predator in franchise history to be bought out this summer.
He's still got enough to play at the NHL level, but isn't nearly consistent enough to warrant a spot tonight or warrant his $4 million salary next season.
yeah, i've seen him sucking several times this season. but he looked better with geoffrion. but of course a guy like dumont on 4th line is a shame.
but since he's currently on the payroll anyway, i thought he could be the veteran presence on 4th line. but with sullivan in the bottom6 i guess that's not needed at all.
So we are scratching a big body in Wilson, geared for playoff hockey, for our Steve Sullivan, who even in his prime here in Nashville, has been lousy in the playoffs. Oh, and he has been abysmal outside the first 6-8 games of the year. Great. At least he brings leadership because outside of that, he is a soft, turnover machine at this point in his career. Prove me wrong Steve.
So they can view it themselves and confirm what boring miserable hockey they play in non-deserving climates where it's already sunny and 70 while they still enjoy glorious snow and below freezing temps?
It was 67 and sunny when I left work in Milwaukee today. Haven't had snow for a few weeks! Go Preds!
