So it is gonna be a little weird seeing Werth in another jersey. I would feel worse if he hadn't acted like such an ass for the past 4 months.

What's the weather down there in DC? Is it as crappy as it is here? Hope they get it in, I need my Phils fill.

It's complete crap. Rain periodically coming through, and recently it just got windy as hell.

Sounds like April baseball in the Northeast to me.

I hate seeing former players have big games against us. I hope Werth K's every at bat tonight against Halladay

So happy he got to make that call before he passed away.

And Halladay with the complete game tonight! Got a little sketchy there at the end.

Halladay looked really good. Even after he started to get roughed around there in the 9th he struck out the next two. (With a little help from the ump)

I couldn't watch the game for some reason, but I assume Halliday was awesome?

Yep only allowed 6 hits. Got a little shaky for a few batters in the 9th but he recovered nicely and struck out the last two.

You know it's pretty funny but I caught the last game Lee pitched, the one against the braves.

Even though I'm a Yankees fan, I had a good discussion with my buddy who loves the phils.

He tried to say Lee pitched a bad game.

I told him not from what I saw. Lee was missing his spots for sure, BUT...if victorino makes that grab when the ball hit his glove it could have been a completely different game.

Still angry we (Yankees) lost out on him.

One play doesn't change the fact that he wasn't hitting his spots. That's going to bite you in the rear eventually, even if you escape one jam. He'll be better than that though I would have to believe.

I already said he was missing his spots, but that one play could have saved 3 runs.

If a ball is near your glove, or in victorino's case, hits his glove, he has to make that catch.

What is going on with the TV coverage this year? Games scheduled to be on ESPN being shown on TCN or MYPHL17? It wouldn't bother me except that MYPHL isn't in HD and I missed the opener because of the scheduling with TV. Is this some kind of blackout issue and if so, has this happened before (I can't remember it ever happening, though that certainly doesn't mean it isn't).

When the games are on Comcast, they're blacked out on ESPN. MYPHL does have HD in Philly area, I guess you don't get it though, sorry. It's been like this for the past few years though.

Obviously the Flyers are on tonight but I just wont be able to follow them more closely due to the fact that Cliff Lee is. There is just something about the way he pitches.

Weak. In between periods is acceptable, but that's it.

baseball is my favorite sport though, I love hockey but I never will love it as much baseball. I watched all of Halladay's (when he was pitching) perfect game instead of game 1 of the SCF.
