Great first game, all in all. Hopefully Ducks can't adapt too much on next game.

Fisher came up huge, just as advertised. A timely goal by Sully, too. And Rinne & Co did the rest in the back end. Must've been an eye opener to some, us fans of course know our guys.

Seemed like Fish was just waiting for the playoffs to start. Dude's a great 2 way player. Hoping one of you or Van represent the west and finish it off.

He actually waited until we needed to make the final playoff push. The guy is perfect under pressure.

And the Preds have still scored 4 goals in every game against the Ducks this season. Pretty amazing!

I'm worried about Game 2 though, is anyone else?

The Ducks are not going to be in the same team as Game 1. Emery is a much better goalie than #DanEllisProblems, and they are going to hardcore goon from the start.

Yes, I'm worried also. We're going to come in looking to repeat Game 1 but they'll try to change it up as much as they can.

I wouldn't say that Emery is better than Ellis. But I am nervous that he'll play better against us, as opposed to Ellis and his "playing with a chip on his shoulder".

Not really, both are just as likely to **** the bed as they are to provide a good performance. Add in the fact he's got a bad hip and Hiller has vertigo. The ducks are in trouble with their goaltending. But yes the Ducks will come out with everything they got in game 2 of course. If you go down 2-0 on home ice to start a series the series isn't over but the fat lady is gonna at least start warming up the pipes. Game 2 will be a very tough game.

How bad is Emery's hip? I know nobody knows for sure, but if Ellis had played decently, would we be seeing Ellis again in game 2 to give Emery more time to recover?

I guess it's too much to get my hopes up that it will affect him though.

It wouldn't shock me if the home team wins every game for the rest of the series. Ducks come out mad after game 1 and beat us down tomorrow, we play hard for the home crowd and win 3 and 4, Anaheim plays desperate while facing elimination and take 5, then we win at home in 6

Hiller has vertigo
Emery has a degenerating hip which should have retired him
But Dan Ellis has #danellisproblems

Aside from scoring on the PP, how did the PP look?

Yeah, and I really really want the Preds to help you. I never thought I would be this desperate to give another team a draft pick.

In case anyone missed this, it was on 107.5 this morning. Parody of "Forget You", titled "Ducks Lose"

We win all our games at home now and we move on, I love our position now.

Next game is scary, the Ducks are already against the wall and will come out hard and I don't expect such an easy game.

Looks like Beauchimin has a lower body injury. No word if he's out.

It's better if he plays, we need to take advantage of his turnovers.

Boys played great last night. However I'm getting worried about the ducks gooning it up. We seem to just play along and get all caught up in the frustration. Here's hoping calm and cool heads prevail in game 2. That and an Emery meltdown.

I think Tootoo could be a big factor. He one of the smartest pests in the league. Unfortunately, refs will never give him the benefit of the doubt. Even with that handicap, he has the ability to be a difference maker. Hope he pulls a Jerome Iginla on Perry.

Haha, Made me laugh.

Let's hope we can keep up the intensity into game 2. Jump on Emery early (No Tootoo, we don't mean over). We've been here before, but if we can take a 2-0 lead back to Nashville I think it will be huge for our chances.

Has anyone heard which jerseys we will be wearing for our home games? Several teams are using their 3rds and I wouldn't be opposed if we did too.
