Montreal Canadiens Art

I intend to create or buy a painting each from my three favorite teams (Montreal Canadiens, Manchester United and a swedish hockeyteam), and I would like to have your help for inspiration.

I want the painting to be "neutral", it should have a clear connection to the Habs, but I don't want a photo of a player, team or any direct connection to hockey. You should need to be a Habs fan (or atleast a hockeyfan) to understand the connection.

Best case scenario is that it would have a connection to the 24 cups we've won.

For my Manchester United Art I've chosen this one. And I would like something similar with Montreal.

I Understand that it might be impossible to make it without any hockeystuffs at all, but as "neutral" as possible would be appreciated.

I've been trying to think of something like this for years!
Maybe something revolving around "From failing hands we throw the torch, be yours to hold it high"?

Hehe, I'm glad to see someone else also have problems

It doesn't have to include a quote for me, but it might be a good way to create this kind of art. That famous quote should be possible to make a decent "neutral" painting.

It's very expensive (don't know if you have a budget haha)..but it doesn't look very Habs related except for the 100 which only Habs/hockey fans will understand. And looks awesome with all the autographs.

WOW! That's just an awesome piece of art!

Unfortunately I don't want to spend $5999...

If someone knows where to buy a poster or a copy of it, please tell me.

Because it's pretty much perfect!
