I'll go out on a limb and say that this is a crucial game.

It's interesting to see what kind of adjustments Ducks have made. And their goalie situation, of course. What kind of history does Preds have against Emery?

I'm so pumped for this game 2! What a chance we have in our grasp. I was thinking coming back 1-1 would be great, but now I'm greedy and want more. Bring it Preds!!!

Don't have all those stats, but in April he played 3 games and went 1 and 2 with a 3.23 GAA and a .907%.

For the year though, he's had a decent 9 games started...7-2 with a 2.28 GAA and a .926%

He's not faced the Preds this year obviously, but he seems like a decent goaltender, though hasn't seen many starts this year. Could either be a wildcard, or the end of the road for the Ducks. Not sure what he gives up, rebounds or holes, but either way, the Preds need to put the puck on net again like in the first game.

10:30am Saturday start time for those of us (who am I kidding, me) in Taiwan. Actually this time I'm not kidding: I will have a Canadian and British friend over at my place to watch the game. It won't be on either channel here that is showing hockey however I will stream it and hook it up to the TV. Canadian friend is from Ottawa and a Sens fan but he likes the Preds especially after we got Fisher. British friend doesn't know a thing about ice hockey but is willing to learn. So I figure what better way than playoff hockey.

We need to stay disciplined and take lots of shots. One period at a time, let's go out and earn that 2-0 series lead. :

Just tell your British friend it's similar to futbol but with less players, smaller playing surface, and a lot more action and intensity.

Anyone else think that the Honda Center is pretty? It looks like a shopping mall really but it's nice.

Wednesday I broke out my ORIGINAL black preds baseball cap that I wore opening night of our first season ever on October 10, 1998. It was there for the first goal ever by Andrew Brunette (deeply satisfying even though he didn't actually score) and first win.

It saw action for many years, faithfully serving the Preds and resisting my urge to toss it for historic hat tricks by the likes of Scott Walker. Wear and tear-- hockey is a tough sport on a hat-- forced it into retirement several years ago even though it had been joined by numerous up and comers by then.

Like Gordy Howe, it comes out of retirement from time to time when called upon but carried no load this year until Wednesday. I'm torn between calling on it today or letting it rest until later.

Either way, go Preds.

The dreaded game two. Which team makes the right adjustments.

I think we'll see a more patient, defensive game from the Ducks tonight. Nothing cute, just physical low risk hockey.

Hopefully the team doesn't think they won the series already and comes out focused and prepared. The Predators need to do a better job of keeping the puck in the offensive zone and using more shots from their defensemen. Regardless of the goaltender in net for Anaheim tonight, it is important to get a quick goal and try to put that doubt in their minds.

Another obvious statement, but the team cannot get mixed up in stuff and get penalized alot. Don't give them PP chances, especially 5 on 3s.

I say this will be the second of four straight wins! I have a feeling the the boys pull out their brooms and sweep this series. I want to be at the Bridge next Wednesday when they make history and thumb their noses at the Canadian hockey elites.

I'm driving back home to Nashville today after work to watch the game with other Preds fans. I can't freakin wait for this to start. A 2-0 series lead is uncharted territory for our boys. Lets get it!!

Hey everyone, I'll be there tonight! Can't wait. I will be summoning all the strength of Pred Nation and try to fend off how angry the Ducks will be tonight. We can do this!!

Nervous about this one for sure. Emery might stand on his head so we can't get caught up in the tough stuff, limiting our chances. Going to have to fire on all cylinders tonight.

I was worried about SK, but Emery didn't look good? A chance we get Ellis again tonight?
