Greeeeeatt, Kostitsyn not in morning skate. Emery first off ice but didn't look too good.
The way it looked, I'm going with twisted ankle. He obviously skated on it after the fact, so I think it's one of those that he won't practice on but will be able to play on with mild irritation and some pain.
10:30am Saturday start time for those of us (who am I kidding, me) in Taiwan. Actually this time I'm not kidding: I will have a Canadian and British friend over at my place to watch the game. It won't be on either channel here that is showing hockey however I will stream it and hook it up to the TV. Canadian friend is from Ottawa and a Sens fan but he likes the Preds especially after we got Fisher. British friend doesn't know a thing about ice hockey but is willing to learn. So I figure what better way than playoff hockey.
We need to stay disciplined and take lots of shots. One period at a time, let's go out and earn that 2-0 series lead. :
wayyyy to effing long. the anticipation of this game is just too much.
the preds and their fans have absolutely nothing to lose in this game but so much to win. when the preds win they will return to home ice with an amazing advantage in the series needing only to win two of the remaining five games with three being on home ice.
even if they somehow lose game 2 the predators will still retain home ice advantage while returning to the best fans in the league to boost them to peak performance on home ice.
