With the dissolution of the Tim Robbins-Susan Sarandon relationship a couple of years ago, Boomer has become the #1 celebrity fan of the Rangers.

He represents us well I think.

Since Crosby is out due to injury, the Crosby rules will now be granted to Ovechkin until Crosby is ready to resume his duties as Bettman's mistress.

Whoah I'm surprised that jerk Carton let them talk about Hockey at all today. It's a shame because I like the show other than the Hockey hate that the little angry bald guy spews.

Carton is the absolute worst! I"ve been looking for Boomer's email, can't find it.

Obviously I'm a Devils fan, but i wouldn't mind hearing any hockey talk (even Ranger-filled) on that show. Especially since Boomer knows the deal.

But Craig, condescendingly every time pushes it away. And now that the POs start, his insight is so forced and fake. That station is a joke.

They always say they don't talk hockey because nobody cares. Its the chicken or egg, for me. I think nobody cares because they don't talk about it. If you gave it some consistent airtime, i bet a following will occur. But instead, we have to talk about Game 9 of 162 for the Mets.

honestly this is the ONLY thing about Carton i cannot stand. All in all i think he's a funny guy. he's even made me lol a few times-- but it's clear this dude has never even watched an entire playoff series; at least not since the lockout. i will bet anything i own on this statement. and THAT is why he hates hockey. if i were to ever talk to him i'd challenge him to sit through one playoff series and watch the entire thing, then after watching it he can pull the plug on boomer any time he wants. until then he should ****

there's a guy at the deli who will start talking about the rangers with me and then all of the sudden he starts talking about the knicks. every single time i tell him that i don't care about the knicks but he KEEPS talking about them. we go through this every single time i go to the deli. some basketball fans just don't get it.

Probably not and probably never will. Francessa and Carton are afraid to talk hockey because they know absolutely nothing about it and would be completely lost in any meaningful hockey conversation.

It's still in the Courts. They have to split the games and Susan doesn't want the Ottawa game.

That's exactly it. And that's the problem with most of the host's. They wish that hockey would just go away. Not only ignorance about the sport, but even some of them that know the sport, consider it to much WORK for them. They might have to watch both a Knick game and a Ranger game. I used to love when Fatcessa used to once in a blue moon take a Ranger call, it was right before a break, so that when they came back he could change the subject.
Back Afta Dis.

You can't freeze a Zebra. They have no spines and would just disintegrate.

The knuckleheads di it WRONG.

They put the jersey in a cooler, and THEN into the freezer. The freezer is insulating the jersey from being frozen.

Can he put Gaborik's jersey under one of those hot lamps that go over hotel pans?

Derp. The cooler is full of ice. It keeps the heat from entering and the coolness of the ice from escaping.
It goes from cooler to freezer because the freezer is not in their radio room.

I would have preferred it if they dipped it in liquid nitrogen though.

I know the cooler is full of ice. lol

But if you put the cooler in the freezer it is STILL going to be warmer inside the cooler than the freezer!

lol. i'm sure they'll take the jersey out. if not, derp. I pictured a walk-in freezer where they will hang it since you won't fit a cooler into a conventional refrigerator freezer. They should get it went so it ices over. OR liquid nitrogen!

The thing that gets me is this.

Your show advertises on a channel where Hockey is HUGE. They cover 3 teams and keep up with a 4th in Buff. How do you black label a sport on your show where I would say 1/4 of your listening audience is hockey due to your ads and where you played them? Add in your partner is a HUGE hockey fan yeah Carton you should NEVER talk Hockey!

The hockey hate on sports radio doesn't bother me as much as it used to now that I have XM & Home Ice.

Carton is a jackass, but occassionally funny.

I like Boomer.

Carton said on air his favorite concert he's ever been to was Madonna at the Coliseum. Pretty much sums up the guy right there.
