Ugh I hope they never bring those ugly mustards back.

I was told by a Ducks fan that Beauchemin was injured blocking a shot a few weeks ago and has been held out of some practices. If it's the same injury he was playing with it in game 1, so I'd imagine he'll be in game 2.

Gotta say I'm hoping you guys knock off the Ducks. Enjoy the war. It only gets more physical, chippy, and cheap as the games go on against them.

Loving SOB honestly. Especially saw in the pre game interview Crispy asked him "What time is it OB?" "It's playoff time Crispy!"

I fully expect the Ducks to hit hard and often dirty tomorrow. I hope we can hang on and come home in one piece. The mixure of dread and hope is doing a number on my GI tract.

Anyone have a replay of the game they could send me somehow? Or is there a place where it's recorded online?

I kept rewinding that over and over again. I think Sbisa was inviting him to "go", and SOB was like, "Look, the game is over."

I could then clearly see him saying, "We'll see." So I guess Sbisa made some predictions about the next game....

One thing I've forgot to mention: the much talked about (?) Carlyle's line matching didn't seem too effective in the first game. Your take on why's that?

It was also nice how they were limited to under 30 shots. Real positive, especially after the-high shooting affairs to close the regular season.

I personally thought they were trying to juggle the lines too much. And he split up the RPG line as well.

As for shots that definitely helped although I will say a lot of their shots were good quality chances. I don't think we'll always be able to keep them under 30 shots per game.

He was scratched Wednesday after playing all 82 games of the season. With Sullivan coming back, Trotz laid down the law and benched him for slacking off.

The RPG line hasn't been a line for a while. Ryan has been centering the third line for a while. Every time I've watched games for the last month or so those three have not been together. I think Carlyle was trying to get more balance across his lineup. I have a funny feeling we'll be seeing the RPG line together again tonight.

They played a lot of the game together Wednesday did they not? Seems like every time Perry and Getzlaf were out there so was Ryan, but the night got fuzzier as the game wore on so who knows

Pretty sure they didn't. Belesky was with them early. If they were together I didn't hardly notice since they did nothing. Like I said earlier, Ryan has been off on his own line for a while.

Looking back at the shift charts, RPG spent quite a bit of time together. They weren't really together by the end of the game, but that was mostly due to all the special teams.

They were invisible so I guess I never really noticed.
