I love O'Brien's game, which obviously comes at the cost of some penalties but those of slashing / hooking variety are hard to stomach.

That's the worst call I've ever seen.

Wow, youd think the back of his jersey had Holmstrom written on it with that call.

C'mon, guys... that was big time goalie interference. Not sure if the penalty was called for, but it was a no goal.

The puck was past Ray before Legwand even got to him.

Terrible start to the period, simply terrible.

Sure it's a bit fuzzy stream I'm watching but I thought the puck was already past Emery when Legwand got to him?

Great shift by erat, halischuk and geoffrion there. Probably the only positive I can pull out of the period. We've gotta get emery to scramble.

His stick was in the back of his leg before the puck came through, then his foot came in and pushed him out of the crease.

I'm sure they'll show another replay here on TV, so I'll get another chance to see it. I've been wrong befre, and lord knows I'm biased, but watch his stick.

Legwand was outside the blue ice, Emery initiated the contact by sticking his leg out and the puck was passed him before the contact. That was a good goal.

I'm watching a terrible broadcast also, but the replay from behind the net clearly showed the puck passing Emery before Weber *avoided* contact.

Leggy's stick took out Emery before the puck crossed the line.

Nashville's offense was nonexistent, save one shift at the end.

Anaheim can control the game now and force turnovers.

Fair enough, I'm stuck watching a crappy online feed. Looked good to me but I'm biased as well.

Right on, I wasn't even watching for Leggy's contact.

Legwand came in from behind. Emery's leg was already out, and Legwand's stick came in and pushed it out, then he came in with his foot and pushed. Emery was on the blue ice.

Still waiting for another replay, but that's what I remember. I'm sure we'll see it again.

Just watched it again and his stick did push Emery's leg out.
Crap, we needed that goal.

This team is so frustrating. They work hard to take a series lead and then come out and take two stupid penalties early on and all of a sudden find themselves down two goals.

For all of that unfinished business talk last offseason, you'd think this team would learn to play smart.

I thought the same thing at first, and the Anaheim announcers seemed to think it was a questionable call. but after a couple replays you can clearly see the stick in there pushing it out. Woulda been a good one had he gotten away with it
