"And Tanner's spirit, raging for revenge,
With Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice
Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war,
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With carrion men, groaning for burial."
Be ready Kings and Kings fans!!!! We're going to war!!!!!
Lil B is garbage and Tyler is weird but he's not bad. I'm 20.
Hahaha Lil B is SO baddddd.. Tyler is sick though, Odd Future is actually pretty solid. I'm 20, turning 21 in June and so I'm into all the new rappers. Curren$y, Wiz before he went mainstream, J. Cole, Pusha T, Big Krit
Hm, I'm not sure if your biased edits are warranted. TM isn't saying that the result is worse, but that the action was worse. It's a distinction that the league is supposed to adhere to. It's better to take the action out of the game before someone gets hurt, not necessarily because someone gets hurt. I'd love to know what your actual opinion on Demers' action is.
My opinion is that Demers would probably have gotten a game suspension in the regular season. Suspensions in the playoffs seem to be a lot harder to get. Stoll's hit would have gotten 4-5 in the reg season, imho - but playoff games are so important, one seems to be worth many reg season games.
Demers' man was facing him and knew it was coming. As far as intent goes, that's really the only real difference, though it is a significant one. Stoll's hit was much more effective obviously - and the post-hit lingering, cramming white's nearly severed head into the boards for a few seconds after - they probably took that into account.
But as far as intent goes, demer's superman impression wasnt much better than stoll's boarding. I would have had no problem with him getting a suspension too. I would have screamed bloody murder he he got the same or more than stoll though, all things considered. It was the difference between a punch in the face (facing your opponent who is expecting it) or a sucker punch in the back of the head. Both are intents to injure, but one is much more uncool than the other.
