If you think that's true, you're not watching the games. He's the only forward who has had multiple top-end scoring chances. He's not finishing like he should, but he's the only forward who has anything near "higher end" abilities on this team.
I know what your saying , its just this guy frustrates me so much , with the talent he has he is suppose to be our go to guy and he hasn't done anything in the past month, he definitely didn't help us get into the playoffs ,he s afraid to get touched. when we need a big goal the guy is ghost. there's a difference between getting scoring chances and actually scoring
Gilroy's Game 2 was one of the worst all around games I have ever seen an NHL player have - I don't know how Torts can continue to rationalize playing him.
I wish I had the ability/technology to upload a "highlight" package of all of the things Gilroy did wrong last game; it blows my mind to see people think he's been "fine".

I didn't really pay all that much attention to the game, but there is no way you could have exaggerated this anymore than you did. He wasn't good, but "one of the worst you've ever seen"? How many games have you seen?
i hate to say this but it won't shock me if they make Gilroy into the lone spare F/D next yr given the cap. at 27 he won't ever be much more than a Matt Dandenault type guy but it may be the cheap route
no chance in hell he stays at his current salary. Has to be under a million.
