I'm a fan of all ourr prospects. Going into the draft I might love a kid but if he ain't devils then he's on the backburner.

Never bad to load up on goalie prrospects tho. Atleast lou realizes the marty years are coming to an end shortly and we have to address it. We were weak at C and it seems to be patching up. Hopefully D and G are handled as such.

Yep, this signing definitely shows that Lou gets it about the future in net.

With a goalie his size, you have questions about his mobility.

If he convinced them, he`s good enough. See: Lindback/Dubnyk.

I love you Lou, I have no problem If you choose to run this team like it's 1965 Soviet Russia.
Except he's slowly killing this organization because he's behind the times! After going to Washington last night and watching that game and being in that atmosphere...I'm absolutely JEALOUS of teams that can get their fans to be like that.

Ted Leonsis is an owner that GETS IT!

If Lou and our scouts were convinced that he can hack it, that''s good enough for me. And his stats support the idea that he's pretty good.

Jersey's team was a better marketing promotion, and I'm not even from Jersey.

Why do you think it's embarrassing?

Obviously...but until the "squatters" move out it won't happen.

Basing that off all the success they've had grooming goalies in the system?

+1 cj225 dead on with the comment in post # 80

There have been goalies who have been ruined simply due to the fact that they were stuck behind Marty. But you're right, the track record isn't that good.

And we get it, you don't like Lou.

LOL I've never been called "Mrs. Tony" before...

Anyway, Ted Leonsis is a very fan oriented owner who has completely changed the organization for the better. If they continue to win, especially in the playoffs it could completely change that franchise.

Leonsis is definitely a good owner. He was aided immeasurably by the fact that he lucked into Ovechkin, though.

Oh I forgot...that Brodeur guy is nothing! And that Parise kid and that guy who got a lot of money this summer, Kovy, they're all crap and can't be marketed!

Ovechkin is a little more flamboyant. Easier to market. I suppose Kovalchuk has that type of energy too, they just aren't using it.

I was impressed with a bus I saw in Newark after a game earlier this year, an ad read "come see the real Jersey fist pump" and it showed a picture to the right of Kovy pumping his fist
