Good luck btw.

And I'm not saying that there arent younger better d-men, that would be naive, but you cant just drop an experienced d-man like Timmonen and add someone like Myers at no cost.

In a perfect world sure, but lets come back to reality.
Myers has taken just as many penalties as Timonen, so he's no good .

By my calculation, out of the 60 minutes played tonight, approximately 347 of them were on the power play.

Since the Flyers weren't on WIP tonight, this is a direct link to post-game radio:

Great win tonight. And we all got our wish of hearing the goal song a bunch of times, no matter what song it was.

We had one in Hamhuis in the offseason. He didn't want to sign with us.

First off, Brad Meier, go **** yourself! Let me guess, did you get a memo today or last night? You realize it's only suggestive and not to be taken literally eh company man.

Second, Van the Man and Giroux too easy! What a game from Powe & Betts!

Screw it, so happy I'm startin' boozin'

Ditto, appreciate it. It's difficult to follow the flyers being in the UK for the year, not to mention on a student budget. Appreciate the help with streams etc.

Hamhuis better than Timonen? We wanted to sign him to be our #5 guy .

Good day for Rick Tocchet. A horse named after him won the final race in Arkansas today.

Beef: you would won about $50 for every $2 wagered.

Tim P. is citing sources who have already ruled out Pronger for Game 3.

http://www.csnphilly.com/04/16/11/Fl...439&feedID=695

Quote:
Let’s not kid ourselves here.

It was a terribly disjointed playoff game with no flow whatsoever.

Roughly seven minutes into Game 2 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series between the Buffalo Sabres and Flyers the officials didn’t make a call on Paul Gaustad’s interference with Danny Briere on a faceoff.

Dan O’Rourke and Brad Meir lost complete control after that non-call, then proceeded to over-officiate the remainder of the Flyers’ 5-4 victory at the Wells Fargo Center to the point that they ruined the game with one power play after another, after another.

The good news? The series is tied 1-1 going back to Buffalo for Game 3 on Monday. Sources said Chris Pronger won’t play in Game 3, either, though he did report his right hand was feeling better after skating on Saturday.
Tim P also chaneled Marv Levy.

That was one of the most positive things (besides the W of course) to come out of that game. The Flyers definitely played the body well, got to Miller and had some nice puck movement on the PP - but holding the lead for the last few minutes without making us all sick to our stomachs - that is great for their confidence and my hairline...

And then we dont have Meszaros, who's been a stud all year. Timonen is twice the defenseman hamhuis is.
