Not posting any words of encouragement in this GDT did it in the last two and it obviously didn't work.

So suck it Rangers!

Just woke up from a nap. Had a dream of Avery scoring a game winning goal on Neuvirth at home through the 5-hole. Book it.

It is darkest before the light…. The Rangers will blow out the Caps 5-0.

Looking back at the past 7 periods and two games. With a little tweaking we very well could be tied or ahead in the series…..

Wow, the Caps have had a 2-0 series lead five times in their history and lost the series four out of those five times.

Sadly history isn't on our side this time the Rangers have only come back from an 0-2 situation and won once.

this is the turning point in the series right here. Win this one at home, take it one game at a time and sweep the home and home series then the series is just like is 0-0 and we can still take this one.

That's what they say, but I don't believe it. The Rangers are in trouble now.

It's essentially a must win the rest of the way unless they sweep the next three games.

You don't want to be down 0-3 because it's a near-guaranteed loss. But 1-3 is not much better so even if we win today, we still need to take Game 4.

And let's say we tie it 2-2. Do we really want to give away Game 5 and be forced to win both of the remaining games? So Game 5 is also key.

The next 3 games will all be high pressure, with us hanging on by a thread.

Essentially, a Capitals win is already gift-wrapped. Just waiting for it to be 12:01 on Christmas day to open it.

Let's not rush to conclusions here. It's not looking good, but we should remember 1996 when the Rangers lost the first two games AT HOME and then went on to beat the Habs in the next 4 straight.
