When Drew plays under control, he's a Norris trophy finalist. He needs to keep it simple.

Great game by your team tonight...

Kings dominated from the get go more or less... sharks cost themselves early with their 112 pk and well clowe going all crazy...

would guess sharks wont play so bad again but this is my sharks...

but kings played a great game tonight... blocked almost every good chance the sharks got... we got a lot of shots but not many scoring chances...

if we can match the kings effort we should pull through but either way kings played a great game...

(i have a small soft spot for the kings... grew up in socal so always watched kings games... especially when they played the sharks...)

also doughty is a freaking beast...

JR calling out Marleau, but I thought Thornton was far worse.

I would love to troll the SJ boards about "Big" Joe, but I'm sure they are doing a great job by themselves.

Willie Mitchell was the unsung hero tonight. Let's give credit to probably Lombardi's best UFA signing since becoming out GM. Stick was all over and in the lanes.

DL needs a lot more credit than just that. He has built a playoff team. With the combination of Murrays team defence system, the signing and trades to bring in big bodies and defensive players. Dean Lombardi has a team that is built to win in the playoffs. If they can outplay a top seed for an entire game, while missing their top 2 centres, that is credit to the system and the team as a whole

Also freaking Westgarth, has been a star lately. Through the last 5 games of the reg season and these playoff games he has been buzzing around everywhere. Forechecking, hitting, being responsible defensively. He has had a chance on the doorstep in both games aswell which easily could have gone in

The Kings dominated the game, the Sharks top players had no opportunity to break out and lead, they have to pick up the entire team intensity to compete and they didn't

The only thing that could ruin this game would be to hear JR talk about it. Thank god Versus is blacked out here.

It's funny. Today Datsyuk and Doughty had two of the better individual efforts from a player all season long. Thornton had one of the worst I've ever seen from a "top" player. He was ATROCIOUS. I always figured the playoff thing was overblown, but he was downright turrrrrible in this game.

Quick is always so humble and passes off the credit to everyone else.

These guys seem like a really tight knit group.

Winning in this fashion without Stoll, and really getting screwed over in the whole who was and wasn't suspended is just a big **** you to the NHL. I love it.

I am happy that everyone else is getting to see the Kevin Westgarth that I saw way back when and believed would be a solid NHL player. Give him more than 2 mins a game and he steps up to the challenge. More than your average cement head. Not playing as well yet as I expected of him yet but he is earning the right to get the time to prove himself and in time I think he will.

This is probably the results of just the right mix and good coaching. They all seem like genuine caring guys.
