Holloway again, with a backhander off the break. 3-2.

I'll be very curios to see if Holloway can make it to the Kings next year. I know he's been putting up alot of points in the AHL, and I've been impressed by what I've seen today.

I hope their backup goalie isn't Yutaka Fukufuji.

brust was actually better than either of your monarchs goalies, with half an echl team for the second half of the year.

pleasant surprise, and huge fan favorite in bingo apparently.

They were laughing because Barry Brust used to play for LA/Manchester. No need to be defensive.

Manchester's now losing 4-2. Onoes, what about Schenn's fragile ego?

Schenn is the destroyer of playoff hopes.

This will be five straight playoff losses for Schenn. Glad he's not in LA.

Jones: 2.25gaa / .924sv%
Brust: 2.53gaa / .925sv%

I'm not sure what your metric is for "better," either way, Brust has been playing professionally for 7 years, while Jones is a rookie.

Holloway with yet another clutch performance in the playoffs. What does he have to do to earn a call up? Maybe he'll get his opportunity this year. Seeing that he is still 23, there is still a chance for him to earn a spot with the big club on an energy line or spare forward next season.

My best guess is that Holloway is to Manchester as Brown is to LA. I remember reading he's heavily involved in the community and the overall face of the team, so they might want to preserve the overall identity of the team by keeping Holloway there.

I think he will get a shot next training camp. If Smyth isn't bought out the top six on the Kings is set, but there are a lot of questions for the bottom 6 + spare forward.

Penner-Kopitar-Williams
Smyth-Stoll-Brown

Clifford-xxx-Simmonds
xxx-Lewis-Westgarth
Parse-xxx

Richardson, Lewis, Simmonds, Doughty and Moller are RFA and Handzus, Harrold and Poni are UFA. Richardson may be let go for Schenn. Moller may be gone as well. Simmonds, Lewis and Doughty will be signed.

Holloway overcomes the Schenn curse and wins the game with his hat trick goal in OT.

I expect Jones to start game 4.
