Because the Ducks had 4 SOG in the first period and not much early in the second period. I hope Pekka starts eating a candy bar out there. If the Ducks can't muster any offense, they won't win.

Fisher NEVER should've dropped those gloves. NEVER. That gave the ducks what they wanted. Jesus.

Doesn't our team get that they cannot get anything going without the PP? It is that simple. No penalty, no goals.

Haha. He did this in Vancouver but he started out playing better for you guys, so I had hoped he had toned down his after the whistle activities a bit. Playing hard is one thing, but OB always crosses the line. You can't afford to hand the Ducks any penalties.

I'll take that swap any day of the week. We get Getzlaf off for 5 and they get Fisher off for 5? Sure, it hasn't worked out the way we wanted it too because of Selanne but anytime you get their number 1 center off the ice you take it.

I'm blown away by the missed calls in this one. How did Marchant only get 2 instead of a game? How did Perry high stick Erat and not get called? How did Tootoo get tripped and Koivu was still on the ice? How does Hornqvist get leveled in front of the net for doing nothing and it's coincidental minors. It amazes me the crap that they let go and the ticky tac stuff that gets called. Either call it all or don't call anything.

Maybe this game needs some refs. The Anaheim thread sounds similar. The refs stink, why didn't they call ...

This is HOCKEY, let the refs work it out. Many fans on opposing teams feel the same way you do about Perry as your hero Tootoo. Love how he plays when he is on your team, hate him if he doesn't!
Look, tootoo is no saint, but right now perry is literally trying to injure players left and right. He will get away with it because he is a "start player." If the refs won't police the game, the players need to. The game is out of control as is.

And no, I supported the chara hit.

At this point every Predator needs to take every legal shot at perry they can get without getting out of position.....if he gets hurt i really don't ****ing care.

he should be suspended for that smack to the face he gave Erat though that was intentional.

Legwand!!!! Beautiful work by everyone on that shift. Leggy and Ward keeping it in. Erat relentless on the boards. And David Legwand johnny on the spot! WOW! Way to retake the lead Predators!
