Their coach is an idiot, Ovechkin irritates the hell out of me with his goal celebrations and ugly face. Oh man I hope we come back and beat these dinks.

Rangers fans crush Caps fans in hockey knowledge.

I wasn't at the Ranger MSG game, but I was at both Cap games at Verizon. And well, being a Rangers fan....it was LOUD. I dont know how loud the Garden was, since i know they lower the volume on TV.

That's why you have to watch/listen to the video clips that fans take at the game.

The energy level will need to be ridiculous on Wednesday though, hopefully there will be more towels because I've always found that very intimidating for opposing teams and super BA.
A wall of noise for 60 minutes of hockey. That is all that is needed. Towels are gimmicks if your vocal chords are not blown out by games end.

Who cares whether it was loud or not. He should be more worried about his team possibly blowing another series. And his ass being fired because of it.

Fact: the Capitals average attendance didn't rank in the top half of the league until the 2008-2009 season... coincidentally the same year they finished 2nd in the Eastern Conference.

The Rangers average attendance never ranked outside the top half of the league and for most years was top 10, even during the "Dark Ages."

Band-wagoners. End of discussion. **** Boudreau

#Caps Michal Neuvirth was asked what Sean Avery was saying to him in Gm3: "The crowd was pretty loud, so I couldn’t understand."

With all the corp seats now, I don't think fatso is too far off.

I have worked for large corporations my entire life and have been fornunate enough to sit in the lower levels and half of the people aren't paying attention and the other half have no clue what is going on...

The Garden is a shell of what it once was

par for the course from this pathetic organization. Like I said in the PGT, it starts from the top. An owner who assaults his fans, a coach who has zero respect and whines like a little *****, players who regularly throw cheapshots, and fans who couldn't tell the difference between a blue line and a clothesline.

**** that organization and their bandwagoning fans, how loud was the verizion center prior to 2008? Yeah thats what I thought *******. Oh yeah, and at least ranger fans don't need someone to tell them when to make noise.

So....

Verizon Center is considerably louder than the Garden. It's not the crowd though, it's just the dimensions and acoustics of the buildings. Playing at Verizon is like playing in a shoe box.

He's still a fat piece of **** though.

Funny that buildings been packed with loyal fans for 85 years while his loud obnoxcious dirtbag crowd flocked there in 05.

Meh...who cares what Boudreau says. If the Rangers win this series he won't be saying anything anymore...he'll be looking for work. Let's make it happen.

When the MSG crowd gets going you can feel the building quake under your feet. The only other venue I have ever felt that at was when they drop the hammer at a NASCAR race.

No other ball inclusive sporting event comes close.

More like 07 or 08.

I can guarantee that nearly 1/2 of the fans in that arena are post-lockout fans. It is a bandwagoners haven. I am sure that most of the bandwagoners couldn't tell you more than one player on the opposing team, if that.

I still think there should be a section of people at MSG behind the visiting bench, in curly wigs, and dark rimmed glasses, calling themselves the Pidtophiles. - Zamboner

I'm listening to the radio Evan Roberts read the whole thing what he said.
He knocked the locker rooms.
Complained about how tight it was on the bench.

What is with these fat coaches (Stan Van Gundy too) whining about MSG?

It's an old building. You're not going to have all the fancy stuff that comes with new buildings. Why is that so hard to understand?

I never heard old YS and currently Fenway and Wrigley getting knocked by opposing coaches/managers.

People take it for what they are: old buildings.

I sit in 409 but I can do this during pre game warm-ups. I'd say we are just better off starting a chant to taunt him.

Bruce is fat! Bruce is fat! Bruce is fat!

With the same rhythm as a "these refs suck!" chant. Just give me some ideas I will bring them to life. Also, excuse my typos please, I'm in class on an Ipod touch.

I'm not going to go after fans for being new, as long as they are enthusiastic.

Being a homer tends to wear off after a time. Being a ****** does not. So Caps fans will be 50% more tolerable by the end of the decade.

Hey I’m happy for them actually! They’ve had some good line ups over the years in late 90’s and weren’t able to do anything special. They tried their hand at signing disgruntled superstar Jagr and that didn’t work out... So basically they threw their hands up in the air and stopped coming to work...

Thanks to the NHL’s broken welfare model that rewards small market teams that CANT win, and a fanbase that CANT support their home teams they were “entitled” to draft a young “NHL ready” 50g a year superstar.! Let’s not forget a few more first round gifters in Semin, Backstrom, and Green..

For a franchise/fanbase that has won NOTHING in it’s 35+yr existence they sure are arrogant aren't’ they!? Whether or not the Rangers win this series, I’m not too sure about the Caps making it out of the 2nd round... Again!

I think he's just used to his building going ******* every time one of his players falls down on their own or gets checked cleanly....

He doesn't know how to react in a building where the home crowd knows enough about the sport to not cry for a penalty when your goalie falls down on his own....

just my opinion, goes on in alot of buildings....

Although he is kind of stupid, he knows he's lying. He's not THAT stupid. MSG is one of the loudest buildings, if not the loudest. Especially during the playoffs. I remember the playoffs of 97 (I didn't get to go in 94 ). Even when down a goal or two it was just a constant background of way more decibles than I could take. He's flat out lying to play head games. Period. He's looking for a reaction from the fans and from the players. Hopefully, everyone steps it up for game 4. I know I would if I were there.

Let's Go Rangers!
