I'm fine with Boucher starting, I don't think its the right move to scratch Bob completely.

I have no issue with starting Boucher. But to completely scratch Bobrovsky? that is just plain dumb. I am sure the Leighton fanboys love it tho

I wonder if they're trying to really get him away from it a little, maybe help him clear his head a little bit? If it was the regular season and they were carrying 3 goalies with Bob as the #1 they might scratch him outright if they planned to give him a day off.

Let's just hope Boucher get's the win but doesn't play good so Leighton has to get the start in game 4.

Leighton is probably the better option as a back up, as long as that is all it means.

At this stage in their two careers Leighton would likely be the better option if Boucher needs to be replaced mid-game in Buffalo.

As far as the whole "killing his confidence" thing, if Bob is that fragile (I don't think he is) then he isn't the goalie for us this year anyway.

Leighton sucks. Too bad the people in charge of my hockey club have not realized that yet.

If that happens I might run out of body fluid

If they were going to do something like this with Bob it needed to happen months ago. He's proven nothing but being able to bounce back after rough starts, and now isn't the time to question it. I think they oughta be dancing with who brought them, not that **** they dated and spent all that money on over the summer, when everyone told them they were being stupid, only to get an awkward HJ.

I just think its wrong to handle it the way they did. the first period of game 2 wasnt entirely Bobrovskys fault but they are handling it like it is. You are replacing a kid who played so well for us this year for a guy who belongs in the AHL.

I don't know what pisses me off more; that Bob is scratched or that there are still Leighton fanboys out there.

Homer's not on my hate list, but he's really pushing it now.
