Fixed the bolded. I don't say Rags ever, so I'd appreciate if you didn't insult my team!
Yup...and I'll just leave it at that!
Actually, that is correct. I don't think I've ever seen you say that once, so I must apologize!

the story is now the cover of ESPN- NEW YORK. Which in my opinion is a great thing...every single fan going to game 4 should know of this and make that place shake. Fat jokes aside, you dont disrespect the greatest fans in the NHL. Lets let him hear it!

Minor observation: the instant Hannan shot the puck over the glass for delay of game the whole Garden started yelling. When the Rangers almost did the same thing in Verizon, the crowd was dead silent like "wha? what happened?"
Just saying, being loud and being knowledgable/into the game are very different things.
Yelling when the scoreboard says "Get Loud!" doesn't mean anything, Bruce.

this is spot on agree 100%. i was at verizon and when this happend i yelled , "**** !" and got a few confused looks
And the Cap Centre used to sell out a lot in the 80s and 90s. It was also loud.
Caps fans are kinda like Mets fans. They are extremely passionate, rabid and knowledgeable, but a lot of the sensible ones were turned off by a few years of poor management decisions and bad seasons. The minute they start winning again, the seats are instantly filled.
Normally I'd be upset, but the Rangers have played just as well as the Caps and in no way look like an 8 seed playing the EC's top dog, loaded with superstars and several deadline acquisitions.
And MSG is notorious for getting quiet when the Rangers look like theyre about to let one slip away. Rangers fans are so used to bad luck, that we sit back a little.
That being said, the Garden is always rocking in the postseason. Never once did I think the arena was quiet. Plus, MSG doesnt use fake crowd noise like in Boston, New Jersey and yes, Washington.
What is this few years of poor management you speak of
I actually caught Francesa and I thought it was hysterical. He just let the callers call in and talk about it because he had no idea what to say but the minute Citi Field and Yankee Stadium came up he wouldn't shut up lol
