That save was very... Lidge-ian? Lidge-ly? Lidge-esque.

It was Lidge-esque, but Jose usually throws strikes. I still trust him over Madson.

Well I've been trying to get into collecting game-used/worn stuff and inadvertently over my last two games I've been to I've set my course on where I'm going haha. Last game I bought a game-used cracked Hamels bat and today while not game-used I bought Hamels' game-issued 2009 World Series jersey. Last year I bought one of the banners hung around CBP of Hamels. Not that anyone probably cares about it here but I felt like posting about it.

Nice man. I focus more or less on hockey memorabilia, but I've gotten some decent signed jerseys (Schmidt, Carlton, Wright, Halladay, Aaron), a lot of signed baseballs (Jeter, a lot of Phillies and Yankees), a piece of the 1980 turf and some other stuff.

I wish I lived more or less in the Philadelphia sports region rather than the Metro state region. I love signings and stuff, and around here they are mainly Yankees/Mets, two teams I despise.

I have a bunch of autographed stuff through christmas' and birthdays of the past including the 1980 Olympic Team Signed jersey and 2010 USA jersey signed by all the Camp Invitees. I also in this past year have gotten a hold of a Paul Stastny game used stick (favorite player in NHL) and Briere's skates.

On the Hamels note however I wanted to go to his signing at the KOP mall yesterday to get my 2009 Opening Day jersey (Gold stitched) and the bat signed but had tickets to the Flyers game so I didn't wanna push it with timing so I didn't go. Plus the fact that it was like $125 per jersey/bat.

Thought I read that his signing was moved to May 7th @ the BC store in Havertown. Don't quote me on that though.

EDIT: http://www.bcsportsevents.com/home/colehamels.html. That's where I saw it.

Hmm, you're right. I thought about it today how he was supposed to pitch yesterday and have the signing on the same day. Well I guess it worked out for me. Might have to go.

EDIT: Also, thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Np, I just happened to google it after I read your post and figured I'd let you know. I love going to signings and such, but sports are pretty expensive.

At least we know if this happens to Bundy he'll come back with a nice retort like "I'm just doing what the Flyers do on their PP."

LA was just to tired to say anything. He is awesome though. i remember a couple weeks ago in Atlanta he said something like, "Oswalt really fisted Heyward hard there."

Fail by Kendrick in extras on that bunt there. Shouldn't have gotten to this point though. Blanton pitched fine and they eeked out a measly 3 runs again, and needed 1 in the 9th to tie.

e: And now Kendrick beans Fielder. So let's recap: 4 pitch walk, throwing error on sac bunt, dead center field warning track sac fly, HBP, wild pitch. Why is Kendrick in the Majors still?

Worley would be a better option as a long reliever, but what can you do?

Go through with the proposed Kendrick to the Yomiuri Giants trade?

Is this true? The first 7 batters for the Brewers in the 12th inning didn't record an official at-bat:

Kyle Kendrick pitching for Philadelphia MIL PHI
K Kendrick relieved A Bastardo. 3 3
R Weeks walked. 3 3
C Gomez sacrificed to catcher, R Weeks to second, C Gomez safe at first on throwing error by pitcher K Kendrick. R Weeks to third on throwing error by pitcher K Kendrick. 3 3
R Braun hit sacrifice fly to center, R Weeks scored. 4 3
P Fielder hit by pitch, C Gomez to second. 4 3
C Gomez to third, P Fielder to second on wild pitch by K Kendrick. 4 3
C McGehee intentionally walked. 4 3
Y Betancourt hit sacrifice fly to left, C Gomez scored, P Fielder to third, C McGehee to second. 5 3
M Kotsay intentionally walked. 5 3
J Lucroy singled to right, P Fielder scored, C McGehee thrown out at home, M Kotsay to second. 6 3

An error is an AB (0-1).

Edit: nevermind, see what you mean.

It's a shame they wasted a good start out of Blanton. Hopefully, the offense doesn't begin to go into one of it's long slumbers so early.

So Halladay had an off day. He gave up 4 runs before he got pulled in the 7th with 2 outs, which isn't horrible had the Phillies gave him anything at all offensively. Sure Wolf pitched good, and the Brewers made a few nice defensive plays, but this offensive slump is maddening.

It's now 9-0 after Herndon (who I dislike almost as much as Baez) gave up a HR to the first guy he saw and gave 2 more earned runs to Roy, a walk, a hit, pitching change, walk and hit. Halladay has to be thinking to himself, "Hell, I could've gotten out of that before it got to 9-0." This team's middle relief is a joke.

They have few guys in AAA that would help this team. But in the end their barring injury, their rotation will get them in the playoffs.
