What's ****ed up is that I mentioned 2 weeks ago against the Leafs how that would eventually cost us a game.

So... We almost tie up a game where we played absolute crap in the first half of the game?

Plus, the GWG was caused by Price, on a silly move?

Can't say I am ashamed of my team. Habs in 5!

Rephrase: be ashamed of the first 27 minutes, but not the last 33. Lesson learned: you cannot come out and play dopey hockey in the playoffs, not for one minute. You'll dig yourself a hole you may not be able to get out of, even with the opposing goalie giving you gifts.

And ****ing bench Spacek.

Unlike the Bruins we didn't die when we trailed 3-0. We battled hard to get back in.

One bad period killed us.

Hopefully we start Game 4 like we ended Game 3.

The missed empty net, the 0 points, the -1, the endless turnovers, or being 5 for 16 on faceoffs....

Take your pick.

Montreal needed to play desperate hockey all night, not just the last 20. Use speed and skill, Bruins panic and can't match...how hard is that to follow?

Bruins are back in this series.

Thursday is a "MUST" win for the Habs.

The good news is the Habs seriously outplayed the Bruins in the 3rd and I fully expect a much better game from the Habs in game 4.. Having a 2-1 series lead with game 4 at home is still a great position to be in..

But at the same time Price played great and helped save those two first games. I hate it as well because it shows up as Price's mistake but that might not of happened if Pouliot didn't take that dumb penalty and the missed call on Cammy. It's a game of inches and Boston won them tonight.

Lessons learned?

Can't wait until the 3rd period to play like it's the playoffs.
Shouldn't play Spacek and Hamrlik together.
Don't bother pulling Price in the final minute for the extra man.

Oh, and I'm wondering when Cammalleri is going to become a bigger factor than Tom Pyatt in these games. Also, as a supposed "puck possession" team, winning faceoffs is of paramount importance. That needs to be addressed.

I'm sorry, but I have a really bad feeling about the rest of the series.

Even losers get lucky sometimes. But seriously, we made mistakes early, and they got some bounces which eluded them in the last two games. Let them hide in Lake Placid now and we'll be ready for the next game.

The 3rd period... wow. A few more minutes, and we would've tied the game up. Play like that all of game 4, and there shouldn't be a problem. Sucks we didn't win, but it's not like we didn't give it our all out there. Next game... next game.

Oh, and Price was amazing tonight. Some of his saves were amazing.

Spacek surely was.

Anyways, I won't call it a heartbreaker. We played like the Bruins in game 1 and 2 (lots of turnovers) and they capitalized on them. They took the lead and played defensively. Thats why we got so many chances. We can built on our 3rd period for the next game. I would sit Spacek for Mara honestly.

I still believe. We can't win them all.

Let Hamrlik go, unless he wants 1.5 mill, or less.

Find a way to get rid of Spacek.

If anything positive, Montreal carries this momentum from the third into game 4.

Gotta use the speed and skill, it did it for us in the first 2 games. Montreal seemed to be either timid in the beginning because they were nervous at home or were a little too confident thinking they were in the drivers seat at home.

Game plan has to be kept with. Let's go.

Terrible PP.

Terrible first period.

Bad turnover by Price leading to a goal.

Gomez... is well Gomez, missed an amazing chance to tie this game...

Pleks missing a pass to Cammy which could have been a great chance, most likely even a goal.

Spacek and Hamrlik out there with like 1:30 left? Really?

Price pulled kind of late, we were dominating their zone for almost 2 full minutes prior to pulling Price in the last minute.

Hamrlik should NEVER pinch.

Ugh. So much fail in a single game
