Which team would you like to see next year?

With Phoenix moving looking the most probable than it's ever been, if they move, what city would you like to see get a team?

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/jetsmeter/

Personally, as kick ass as the jets are, I'd love for the nordiques to come back just for the selfish reason that we'd most likely play them More than winnepeg, also the Montreal Quebec rivalry was pretty sweet.

Also, I think this is a good opportunity to reorganize the conferences/divisions, because we all know they're a bit ****ed up.

I think the Jets could survive, but I think a team in Quebec could do well.

If Phoenix does relocate I would want them to move back to Winnipeg.

If they move back to Winnipeg would you assume the Jets go into the Northwest and Colorado gets put in the Pacific?

Based on Geography I would assume so.

Really gives a great depiction of how horrible Western Conference travel is. How does Detroit stay so good doing that every year?

Thompson is the richest man in Canada and the 10th richest man in the world, he can fund the Jets.

People who think Melnyk is rich, this guy has 30 times the money Eugene "Drunk Interview" Melnyk has, sell outs or not, the Jets once they arrive will be forever on solid ground.

Jets all the way baby

I would want the Coyotes to go to Winnepeg, but I want to see the Nordiques come back. It would reduce the number of ******* habs fans.

Doesn't Colorado own the rights to the name "Nordiques"? I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere. Quebec would either have to buy the name back or use something else.

I want another team in Canada, so that excludes staying in Phoenix and Quebec

They could be "Nordiques X"

I definitely want the Jets back. But that's because I am originally from Winnipeg, it was my first ever NHL team to watch live, and I was raised watching the Jets. SO it would be cool to have them back.

The Quebec Seperatists?

For the record I want the Jets to come back as a fan, but from a business perspective I don't think they are a permanent fix.

I don't think Winnipeg will work out long term, but im sick of hearing about the PHX fiasco so I hope they get a team. Another team in the GTA would be the ideal solution but thats not going to happen yet.

Ideally they stay in Phoenix and build off this playoff momentum, parlaying it into ticket sales. Meanwhile, the NHL announces expansion plans to 32 teams (one to Winnipeg or Seattle, one to Quebec City).

I agree with this opinion.

Jets' and Nords' fans are still upset over what happened, so let's just rip the team away from whatever fans Phoenix has. I feel really bad for those people, no one deserves to have their team just taken away. Yeah, it's proof not all expansions are good ideas and I am all for Canadian hockey, etc. I just don't like when the only choice is relocation. It sucks.

Even though I'm a fan of the Yotes... I'd probably pull for em even more in Winnepeg. A lot of Yotes fans are Canadian anyways so it's not a huge loss

I'd like to see them move back to Winnipeg and be called the Jets so they have one of the cooler chants in sports in-game J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS

Or I'd like to see Wisconsin get a team if they can support it in Green Bay or Milwaukee.

Quebec, easier to make a weekend of it if the Senators blow chunks and we have nonstop drama.
