What an epic ****ing choke. I'm so embarrassed to be a fan of this team right now. How do you blow a 4-0 lead? As soon as this team has a taste of success, it goes straight to their heads and they act like they no longer have to work for it. Pathetic.

Series isn't over regardless. The Kings did well in periods where they decided to use their size to exploit the Sharks defense. They just plain shut it off when Niemi got pulled, simple as that.

... All I have to say is this - now is not the time for reactionary moves. It doesn't do the team any good. This is a lesson. A lesson this team apparently had to learn.

I have no clue why Murray didn't feel the need to use a time out in the second period. Maybe I'll never know why. It seemed like an obvious move.

Also, JJ, if you're going to go throw a useless check on a guy, at least direct the forward who stepped in to cover you where to go afterwards.

I dunno, but they didn't look bad from the third all the way until Penner decided to stop backchecking.

Biggest choke job of any team I have ever cheered for or been on at any level of sports.

What makes it even worse is after giving up 3 goals of a 4 goal lead they got one back to build a two goal lead, and still choked it away within minutes.

Oh well, atleast sj and the rest of the TM supporters won't be here patting their backs. This was a despicable coaching performance by TM and the staff. So TM has shown us he will only use his timeouts in games we are up big to preserve a shutout.

I'm honestly struggling to think of a worse coaching performance where it wasn't just one awful blunder. one awful coaching blunder I can deal with, this was blunder after blunder after blunder.

And I'm still wondering why TM felt the need to break up the Kings best line from last game to insert Stoll. That line cannot play defense to save it's damn life. Great they scored a goal on a breakdown. They also gave up multiple chances because Stoll has no ******* clue whats going on out there.

And Penner can go **** himself. Pathetic performance.

You see what calling a TO and pulling your goalie can potentially do, Terry? Might want to try it sometime. I'd be handing him his pink slip when he left the bench.

Gotta give the Sharks credit. They had a gut check and outplayed the Kings.

Either way, I can't help but blame Murray. What an atrocious coach.

I DARE someone - ANYONE - to defend that POS Dustin Penner now.

15 games 1 assist...Anson Carter numbers.

And he doesn't hit, doesn't check, doesn't get into scoring areas, doesn't pass...worst hockey player in a Kings uniform in a loooong time.

amazing how many people are critisizing Murray. This 1 lies heavily on the players collapse more than the coaching staff.

You can't do much from the bench when your team fails to pick up free men in the defensive zone

Penner was bad
Complete lack of focus defensively
Murray is a JOKE for not calling a timeout in the 2nd

No the series is over. This is as tough a loss as there is. I don't see the Kings coming back from this collapse of epic proportions.
