No, the point of the timeout is to refocus the team.

Would you really call a timeout after the 2nd goal was scored, in a 4-2 game, middle of the 2nd?

Cmon...

Not next year, no. Eventually they will, there's just no room for the both of them right now. We're stacked on the right wing, no room for Toffoli and there's someone that goes by the name of Brayden Schenn who's ahead of Vey on the depth chart lol

Man, that Clowe goal they just showed was an abomination of a shift by Richardson. Gets in Clifford's way covering the wrong guy at the point, then is late getting back to his man and lets Heatley get off a good shot in which Jack rotates over and clears out Heatley, and then Richardson leaves the guy he's standing next to (Clowe) and goes and stands by Quick. Pass to Clowe tap in goal.

I said earlier in the 3rd period in the GDT how the kings always get beat with the cross ice pass to the trailing man.

It's funny how I can see this while sitting at my desk yet the Kings coaching staff doesn't address the issue.

hmm... I need a creative outlet of releasing my anger that doesn't involve destroying my apartment since I'll no longer be in this apartment in a few weeks.

It's an impossible issue to address. Their skaters are faster than the two forwards we send deep to cycle or retrieve the puck, simple as that, there's absolutely nothing we can do about it because the speed is not there with multiple forwards on the same line.

I would've called it when it was 5-4 everyone knew San Jose was going to tie it

Few of those,

Marleau's goal, Williams leaves his job, to pick up his ****ing stick, pass to Marleau that has no business going through, goal.

Clowe's 1st goal, I think, the one off Mitchell, Handzus goes to pressure in the corner, peels off for the point, Mitchell stands there lets him walk in,

Again, there was no back to back bang bang goals, that's the only reason why McCellan used his time out, it wasn't because there were 2 goals scored.
Sorry to hear you'd be just as bad as Terry Murray (just joking)

But really, if you lose a 4-0 lead and it gets to 5-5 with any decent coach the question you ask is "When did you take the timeout?" Some might do it after the 2nd, some the 3rd, some the 4th goal. No coach worth his salt doesn't call a timeout. If you're losing a lead and scrambling you don't go "Hmm, I wonder when this'll stop, hope it's soon", you call a timeout and calm down your players. Especially considering how young the Kings are.

And when through three games the same cross ice pass is getting through, you change your D strategy. Both OT goals were almost exactly the same. And there were 2 or 3 scoring chances throughout the game that were similar. That's on the coach.

That was a tough pill to swallow, especially paying the money to see it The only positive was the first half was the most jubilant piece of hockey I had ever witnessed, the downfall is this is last season 2.0 win Game 2 withe a chance to start strangling the opponent in game 3 at home only to blow a lead in the dying moments... Devastating.

I have no thoughts on this disaster. Worst Kings loss since St Louis playoffs.

very excited to see what happens with him also. do you think he would crack the line-up as a center or winger?

I knew there was a reason why I liked the Kings...the "fire the coach" statements seem look familiar lol.

Yeah...don't need to tell me.

Granted we still have a few more games left but this was a kill shot. I also think this game magnifies the weaknesses we have on the team and I suspect Dean Lombardi took note of that tonight.

We'll get into all that later on when it is officially offseason.
