I have the same reaction. Every time I'm on the floor for a show I can't help but look up into the seats and wonder what it's like to have 17,000+ staring down at you.

And remember: If we lose another home game in this series it's Gaga's fault. A live version of Bad Romance is the only thing powerful enough to curse home ice.

One of the coolest things about our high school hockey league being sponsored by the Preds is every team gets 1 game at the Bridge every year. The feeling of playing in the same net as Pekka Rinne a day before he does is absolutely indescribable.

My music prof went to the Lady Gaga concert. yeah... a highly educated jazz saxophone player who sits in on studio sessions, has several decent paying gigs every week, and teaches at MTSU went to the Lady Gaga concert

Not only that, but another one of my professors absolutely loves Lady Gaga. I'm telling them both that if we lose tonight I will choke Gaga to death with her own G*D meat dress... I'm not playing around. It's the play offs. Step ya' game up

Wow that's a pretty sweet deal. When I was in highschool only the state championship game was held there (the GEC when I played )

LOL, how can any self-respecting music professor go to a lady gaga concert

On other hand... if we win tonight I may be a lady gaga fan myself

Hell my high school didn't even have a hockey team until two years after I graduated (I'm kinda old though so they've had a team for six years now)

I think this solves the mystery

Honestly, I absolutely hate her, but every now and then he's pulled out a Lady Gaga reference while talking about... for example... the Baroque period. It's kind of interesting some of the odd things she throws into her music that originated in the 16th/17th centuries... and I'm only taking the class because it's 3 free credit hours so screw it

Yep someone on your team broke my wrist in the state playoffs so I didn't play in the championship.

Considering that surfaced has held the Preds & Rush on April 3rd, I consider it to be hallowed ground.

Start the GDT here and then a mod will post it on that board...

I'm not sure who is in charge of the GDT or if it's been claimed at all. Whoever starts it might want to PM danishh or another global mod because they've been dropping the ball on the Preds/Ducks GDTs.

edit: also keep in mind that they want a "real" GDT. Bare bones stuff won't get on the main board. They've been using Mooseduck's threads, which is fine, and he's been posting regular season stats and such

Send a message via Yahoo to nine_inch_fang
they usually use the home teams gdt. but since they didn't like ours last game the mod used theirs.

worked well for them...wonder if they'll do it again. since i'm sure ours won't be up for a while and it'll be pretty bare.

It sounds like I've played against several of you. Did any of you happen to play for Brentwood in 2003? If so, sorry for breaking your heart in the first round of the playoffs.

It's Token's job to create the GDT, he did last game and we won. They won't use it in the main board though because they don't want barebones.

Lady Gaga went to a school for the arts for NYU, is a classically trained pianist, writes her own music, and scores her music on a piano. Good thing your profs don't like Brittany Spears... I don't really like her music, but she is a true musician.

Anyways, I'm just ready for a game. It seems like ages since Sunday!

was going to. Storms last night altered plans for today. AHd to make a few minor repairs and used the time for gnoming it up to fix a few things.
