Calder candidates this year?

Anyone here think that the rangers will have a rookie who'll be a candidate for the calder memorial trophy this year?

Is Tyutin eligable? He probably won't put up big numbers but could be the best rookie d-man in the league if you factor in all facets of the game.

Those three certainly have the name power but does anybody remember a young star in the making named Alexander Daigle

Yes Tyutin is eligable. He didnt play enough games (by 1 or 2) to loose his Rookie status for this year.

To pick a calder candidate you have to know what lines thoose kids will be playing on ect. Will be a tough race this year though thats for sure. Lundqvist might have a shoot...
