Given the kinds of goals we're scoring so far, I think Halpern (rebounds, high traffic goals) is more likely to score than Pouliot (top shelf from 20 feet out). If JM follows through this will be an excellent move.

Actually have a really good feeling about this one. I think the Canadiens will start the game how they played the 3rd period in game 3 and keep it consistent throughout the game. I'm thinking a 4-1 win. GO HABS GO!

This is a game 7 for us.

We can't go back to Boston tied 2-2, we need to go back up 3-1.

GO HABS GO!

I see this one being a defensive, system-based checking fest.

Wouldn't be surprised to see this one go into OT (or double OT, or triple OT, or...you catch my drift)

Will be stuck in an exam room from 7-10. Hoping to come out of that room bi-happy.

Perfect remedy to a long week of work. The Friday off and a Habs victory tomorrow night. Nothing would be sweeter, then to head back to Boston, up 3-1. Actually, one thing sweeter, is to eliminate them in front of their own crowd.

So I'm going to say Habs win tomorrow 4-2, then go back to Boston and win 3-0.

I was at the last game and had a terrible feeling about the possible outcome, mainly because we were up 2-0 in the series. It seems like we play a lot better in hard pressed/back against the wall type situations (last year). Up 2-0 I figured we'd come out in the beginning loose and carefree along with trying to impress the home crowd.

The Habs were far from impressive in the 1st period, but the Bruins hardly impressed me either. With the Bruins winning last game I feel better about the next one cause we'll have a better focused mindset for next game, and especially with the possible scratching of Pools and inclusion of Halpern in the lineup i like our chances better.

Go Habs Go

Game 4 Routine/Superstition

Okay guys and gals....are there things that you did for game # 3 that you will not do again for game #4 ?

For some reason I had changed my jersey, went with the white one instead of the red jersey which I wore for the first two games......white jersey is now buried in the back of the closet lol.....

I missed the opening face off. This has been remarkably consistent over the last stretch of the season. When I had to miss a few games due to school work we went through a tough stretch. When I started watching again, we haven't lost in regulation.

I will miss Thursdays game due to an exam so its not looking good

Anyone want to give me tickets to the game? The Canadiens are 5 and 0 when I am in attendance at the Bell Centre.

Wasn't too sure where to post this, but here are some interesting Habs-related tidbits from Elliotte Friedman's weekly column 30 Thoughts:

16. Entering the Boston series, the Canadiens were pumping Andrei Kostitsyn's tires. They talked about how his effort had improved, how he was a net presence on the power play, about how he committed himself to becoming a better player. When he came back after taking that Chara slapshot off the foot in Game 1, it said everything anyone needed to know about his compete level. He was probably full of enough drugs to sedate an enraged grizzly, but it couldn't have been easy, especially since he missed Game 2.

17. Texted a Capital during Game 1. Asked if he was watching Montreal. He said it was like watching a one-year-old horror movie: "Exact same strategy."

19. There was a time Hal Gill was so concerned about his future in hockey, he considered becoming a math teacher.

20. P.K. Subban said he didn't feel too tired after playing a game-high 27 minutes Thursday night. He was the last Canadien on the ice at Saturday's morning skate, too. He says he's watched a lot of Chris Pronger video. Pronger is one of the best in the NHL at conserving energy while on the ice, so he can play a ton of effective minutes. Subban is trying to mimic that.

21. David Krejci on Tomas Plekanec: "We played together at the Olympics and world championships ... I respect him, but right now I hate him."
