nah. Using the word "tarnished" I guess made little sense in that context. I miss those guys (or that guy?) for sure in this, as I'm sure many of us do, but they aren't the "integrity" of the ATD. Them plus another 20 GM's? More so.
I suppose. I know you're exaggerating to get the point across, but the impact that a move like that would have in the NHL is very different then this situation, where I don't see how the butterfly effect would have changed much. Besides, Gary Bettman is a Pens/Phoenix fan while Campbell is an idiot/has his son on the Bruins, so maybe the ATD is taking a step towards becoming like the NHL. (jokes)
I'd like to liken this entire situation to an M. Night Shyamalan movie.
There needs to be a twist that you'll "never see coming" or else we'll see it coming.
I just noticed Guy Lapointe has the most fitting name I can think of lol
Lapointe ''La pointe'' basically means ''the point''
Guy ''the Point''
Should have picked it up earlier
And yes , I'm aware of a guy name Mario Lemieux , but you can't really say ''Le mieux'' in french so I don't know why this name even exist ( except if you say ''il est celui qui se porte le mieux'' which as no real relation with saying he was ''the best'' , ''the best'' would be ''le meilleur'' )

Rookie GM having trouble ranking the Thomas D. Green division. I've looked at the lineup assassination thread...anyone have additional comments on any of those teams?
Anyone want to become my favourite GM of the day and make me (and others) a template for voting? Here's one for my division, all you gotta do is write the teams in.

Actually, this would be a billion times more convenient for the playoffs, but still, this would be appreciated if anyone did it.
While you guys are fighting about....that....figured I'd throw down I finally got a chance to vote, and the Northey Divison (The one with TDMM and Eagle) is STACKED I think..
I think we have a difficult division to judge, because all the teams in our division have been constructed in such different ways. It's really comparing apples to oranges and try to figure out how they would mesh playing against each other.

In another related matter, the last 5 pages of this thread have been hilarious and refreshing. The last post TDMM in the ''dirt thread'' made me laugh in real life!

I'm having the most trouble with that division, mainly because no team deserves to finish last!
bolded are "acting GMs" with no obligation who are still free to vote.
italicized are co-GMs whose partners have already voted, so they are free to vote but their team responsibility is handled.
The rest, aside from nik jr, are guys who aren't around often, GMs who already appear to have checked out, one who is jaded over TheSabreGate and has probably already disconnected from the process, one who wanted to quit with 5 picks left and only stuck around as a courtesy, one who is having internet issues, and one who can't send PMs and is supposed to be emailing.
I'd be happy with even three votes from those nine at this point.
