The fix is on boys, this series is over because the NHL wants this series to be over. I have never seen so much ******** in my life.

First goal should have been a whistle. Reverse the situation and that whistle gets blown once Neuvirth brings it to his chest.

How about Feds getting hauled down and not getting a call, then Avery gets called for a terrible penalty for stopping AO from getting a clean shot off.

Do not get me started on THE PICK that was set by Davorski which stopped a 2-0 in ot

How is the fix on when your up 3-0....

Unless the Rangers are in on the fix.....

This team just sucks....they are garbage...

I really hope everyone here is proud of this team. Torts has done an amazing job making them work hard and WANT to be Rangers. Work hard like they should. It's great to watch. With that said, we truly need a #1 center. More than maybe any other team in the league. We are so close, yet so far away without him.

Definitely proud of this team. Shattered the way this game finished but this season's positives outweigh the negatives by quite a margin.

I still can't believe I of all people am the one being positive here (with a select few others).

Seriously, guys. This team has showed some incredible guts this entire series.

This mindset you have is sad. What's worse is that it's the mindset of a number of Rangers "fans".

Be proud of being a fan of a team that works as hard as these guys do. I don't know how long you've been following, but it's been ages since anyone has seen effort like this.

Glad a few people on here get it....

Soooo, where was the Ref to tackle Chimera and take away the scoring chance? How about a little consistency refs?

Completely ridiculous that terrible officiating pretty much changes the whole game. Blow the damn whistle when the puck is covered.

Nice work Gabs. You have probably just become the most hated Ranger, making your remaining time in NY most likely pretty miserable.

But not these bums....

Holy **** this team sucks....
That's about the only huge save Lundqvist made in basically the whole game. A bunch of decent ones in there, but the first goal is on him and on the ref. Should have been a whistle and is 99.9% of the time, but Lundqvist had the puck covered and then lost it on his own.

Horrible feeling, but not unexpected. The Rangers have now had 4 leads they've given up in this series. The Caps are just a better team. That doesn't make the Rangers bad, but there's a reason Washington has home ice in the East.

Maybe they can still pull what MTL did last year. Probably not.

They are rookies. We kind of have to suspect that out of them once in a while, even in the most crucial situations. It's part of the development process I guess.

one can only hope this wakes up gabby and he goes on a tear.

geez. the game ended the best way it could have with a negative outcome. i couldn't stop laughing after watching what seemed like the three stooges were put on the ice for that play.

Neither team is a contender, not even close the way they both play.
POTG-Hank( How many ****in shots they give a sniper like Semin, what a joke)
Good-Feds, Sauer(for doubter who think hes replaceable think again, he played amazing as he has), Stepan was solid, Boyle tried.
Bad-Dubi(not good enough, left his man open tonight and last game, Prospal was absolutely terrible

POTG: Feds or Girardi... Went with Feds.
The Good: Fedotenko, Girardi, Henke, Dubinskyish, Wolski for 15 seconds
The Bad: Gaborik, Christensen, McCabe
The Redden: Powerplay. Over and over again.

Gaborik wasn't good tonight. He had a nice goal, thanks to good positioning, but that was Fedotenko's work. All his. Other than that, same old Gaborik. Skating it into the zone, making a million moves that don't earn him any open ice. He needs to be better. Not sure what happened in the Offseason, but he's been brutal this year. He can't open up ice, he can't snipe. His ineffectivity is getting old, fast. If he doesn't show up next year, he's going to be gone by the deadline.

That being said, I don't pin this loss on Gaborik. That powerplay needs to be fixed. There's no, absolutely no ****ing way we can expect a win when we got 0 for 7 on the powerplay in playoff hockey. I don't care if Sullivan is "Tort's guy", get him the **** away from that bench. Bring in somebody, anybody new. The PP needs a change.

I have really had a terrible month, though, man. Rangers losing to the Caps in heartbreaking fashion and my car has been broken for about 3 weeks now with an end barely in sight. So much stress, so much annoyances...

Still being positive.

Let's go Rangers!

Nice time out Torts to just stand there with your usual puss. Good coaching by miming.

Why was the ****** boyle line out there every other shift in OT. EC and WW had to have some fresh legs.
let's say they both run it, and both desrerve to be canned.

Eh, I don't watch games to see guts. I watch to see wins.

I'm not really feeling the, "Oh, I'm so proud" cumbaya **** right now. Maybe later, but not 30 minutes after a devastating loss. Is that really hard to believe?

Really proud of Girardi, Fedetenko, Gilroy - man we miss Cally - he is our best player besides Henrik. 40 minutes for Girardi wow.

Amazing effort by the second defense pairing of rookies, big thumbs up to them.

I have to say that Wolski icing was the laziest play I have ever witnessed in professional sports.

And what can you say of Henrik, best goalie in the league. He will take it hard but he shouldn't. He's wonderful.

Torts is really getting the most out of this team. No problems on the bench.

PP is horrid, but it's been that way for three coaches. It's the players face it. We don't have snipers we have grinders.

Blame sather for deadweight.

We have a lot to build on for next year.

BEAST? Ok, I'll give you the 2 chances he had where he made 2 caps look silly. His goal was a tap-in.

The last play he made is an obvious f-up.

I still think he floated too much, and he looks for the perfect shot too much. Needs to drive a bit harder and be decisive. I'm just not sold on the guy.

I'm shocked at the amount of "this team sucks" comments.

A sucky team doesn't play the "best" team in the East to a virtual draw, and only trails because of fluky goals.

Rangers do not suck. There has been BAD LUCK all season. Why should it change in the playoffs?
