Lehner played good enough to win. I would put his performance on the level of Brust's games in this series.

Lehner faced the same defensive let downs that Brust has seen all series. With our depleted D, we need to score 5+ goals a game to make up for how many the D leaves our goalies out to dry for.

Loved Daugy's stick punt after the goal. Can't say I've seen that before. From what I can gather listening to the last two games, he was creating a lot of chances but couldn't finish or had the puck roll off his stick, so it's nice to see him get one when it counts.

Potulny is on fire. I had my doubts about him after it took a while for him to get going with the B-Sens in the regular season, but he's the only reason they're still playing hockey right now. If they can get at least one d-man back for Friday, I have no doubt they'll go to a game 7.

P.S. Those that haven't seen the highlights can watch em here.

Hale is done..he's got this flu disease thing that take's a long while to recover from..he had it early this season and it's something w/ his immune system..

Even when he recovers he's not game shape

Am I remembering right that re-signing Potulny would mean we give up the Pitts 6th/7th (from Kovalev) to Chicago? I think that was the condition in the blockbuster Campoli/Potulny deal.

If he's a good fit maybe they won't care.

Only if Pavelski plays a game for the Sens.

We give up our 7th pick, not the Pittsburgh draft pick from the Kovalev trade.

I would gladly give away our 7th to re-sign Potulny if he would sign a 2-way.

This guy has been Bingo's best performer in the playoffs.

If we re-sign Pavelski (Potulny) and he doesn't play a game for the Sens, we keep the pick. If we call him up at anytime, we part with the pick.

Let's just call him 'Clutch' to avoid confusion.

As has been discussed. Lehner played ok. The two pucks he let through his 5 hole were shaky at best. One was a goal, the other one Schira saved. Lehner got a piece of both but yikes it was edge of the seat type stuff.

Game 5 was better. Still not great, but I think they played better. I think the line changes that were made helped. Moved the grinders around.

haha ok gotcha, thanks for the clarification. He's been huge for Bingo, I hope they can sign him to a 2 way.

KK no help (player wise) for the weekend

Coach Kurt Kleinendorst said before the team left this morning that he is not expecting to get any injured players back for the weekend, and that he isn't ruling out playing 13 forwards and five defensemen again.
