Voted for Cleary, Eaves and Flip but really can't complain at all about the play of the forwards and I thought Kronwall had a standout series overall. Howard was very good as well...two of those goals weren't really his fault.

They need to keep Abdelkader in the lineup. He's doing all the little things well, he brings size and energy, he's over 61% on faceoffs (best on the team), and they can play him anywhere on any line. I don't know how they even consider sitting him.

Eaves is probably safe after his game 4 but you never know what Babcock will do. Hudler has three points in four games and is playing pretty well, so you'd think he'd be safe. Draper had a solid series but was 4 for 15 on faceoffs in game 4 and under 44% for the series. Modano came back with a point and did some good things early but was generally ineffective.

Smart money says Miller sits for game 1, but I'd sit Modano back down. Or Draper maybe - either one would sit before Miller. But that's me.

Cleary with a 3 point game, Eaves with 2 goals, Kronwall with a goal, a +3, and a team-high 23 minutes of solid D ... and Helm is leading the voting? He had a good solid game, but wow, that really doesn't seem right to me when so many other guys had good solid games and actually put the puck in the net....

That forechecking goal when he checked yandle into another yotes players both fell down, rounded the net and passed to an wide open eaves, that alone earned first star

Eaves was in the right spot at that time and also had a empty net goal when already had a two-goal lead so his goals wasn't that impressive.

Even without the goals Eaves was outstanding last night.

In no order: Kronner, Bert, Filppula. Nice way to close the Yotes out!

That is what I thought. I do not get it why Bertuzzi gets so many votes. I think Kronwall and Cleary had to get stars, but that's me.

Boy oh Boy, I was really torn on this one because in all honesty I would have picked the Detroit RedWings as the number one star.

I went with:
1) Helm. He just keeps on amazing me with his level of maturity this year. he went from a really fast skater with no hands to an all around offensive force and a stud on the PK.

2) Eaves. Eaves has been the ultimate team player this year and he deserves the accolades he is getting. When he has sat, he hasn't complained and he is ready to go every night.

3) Bertuzzi. Let me tell you why. When he scored that goal last night, I saw in Bert what he has been lacking for a few years...Absolute joy and love for the game. When he scored it was great to see the emotion in his face. he is playing some great defensive hockey also

HM's Kronner, Cleary, Filppula, Abdelkader, ....Oh heck, fill out the rest of the roster

Way to go Wings

The voting shows that this was a team effort. The whole series was like that. Everyone showed up and I'm happy Howard is playing well. Hope that continues, he needs to shut some people up.

1. Helm - this guy...just wow
2. Eaves - this duo of Helm-Eaves is awesome
3. Bertuzzi - Hard work pays off

HM: the rest of the team. Including Modano, he had a decent game. Not too flashy but he contributed. He'll still be scratched though. Enjoy that bonus Mo!

Thank you Bryz for being so unclutch. If he was half-decent...ouch

if he was still playing, he would be a damn good D man by now... Still good to see him around and having no major problem health wise.

Yep, 13 guys scored at least one goal and something like 16 skaters had at least a point. Pavs carried us early on in the first two games but it was truly a team effort. If the PK can get straightened out the Wings will be in good shape.

I went:

Cleary - work hard all game long
Bertuzzi - created mayhem all game long
Datsyuk - I thought he was an impact whenever he was on the ice

He's a really good guy to have during training camp who can mentor our prospects. I remember in the offseason he was one of the coaches managing the white team iirc. He was speaking in Czech with Nestrasil.
