Penner has been terribly useless, but Zeus has done nothing this series. Penner looked good with Kopitar and Williams, and hopefully he can do well next season with them.

Martinez is also pretty much done I think. He had some great play in the regular season, but his defensive ability has sucked and Greene isn't good enough to make up for it. Voynov and Muzzin will be our 5th defensemen next year.

Impressed by Mitchell. If Doughty actually takes anger management this summer and gets smarter, they might be amazing next season.

Johnson and Scuderi have been...fine. They haven't been terrible or great.

Not as long as Murray is coaching

If Dean re-signs Handzus, I will be pissed. He needs to force Murray to play the younger, faster centers. Loktionov and Schenn will make mistakes, but they will learn over 82 games if given a chance.

Can Fox please shave that horrible beard?

Not saying Smyth is the problem, but his cap hit is going to be. I expect some roster maneuvers from Dean this offseason and Smyth will either be bought out or hopefully traded to a team of his choice.

This team needs to start drafting offensive talent. SJ has them in bushells and let's just face it, they're a much better team with a great PP.

That said, they've also gotten most of the bounces this series.

Have you been watching this game? Have you looked at the Kings' faces? They have "quit" written all over it.

Exactly why he won't play Bernier.

Everyone is getting on Martinez, I blame Greene more than any other defenseman.

... Maybe they're a bit lost, and their coach is asleep?

GG Kings fans. The Sharks are too much once we actually start playing.
The Sharks aren't that good. JEEZ.

The Kings have outplayed the Sharks for most of the series. Yes, you took us out tonight, but if the Kings get bounces here and there, it would have been 3-0 going into tonight. If I was a Shark fan, I wouldn't be proud of how you played this series.

The Kings have played the Sharks 50/50 this entire series.

Are you kidding me? ... Don't be ridiculous. We are going to root for our Kings until their dying breath, but the cancer has spread, the doctor has shook his head and left the room, and the priest has entered. Divine intervention is all we have left.

Horrible coaching by Murray the final few minutes. Should have gotten at least one goal on the 5-on-3.

SJ's best D-man is in the box, he could pulled the tender, inserted Richardson, etc....well at least he called a timeout.

... You live with someone, you also die with him. Like last season.

Is this Groundhog Day?

Richardson and Lewis exposed the Sharks because of their speed, they backed their defense off. The rest of our lines couldn't do that because of their lack of speed (Handzus and Penner on the same line) (Williams and Smyth on the same line)
I mean purely for his role. In terms of being a heavyweight enforcer, he has been very very good. I obviously dont expect him to put up points or anything, but he is now +2 on the series, he is playing well, give him his dues

I'm not. The good thing to come out of all this is that we can win playing like crap. When we play our game, we are darn near unbeatable. The Kings have a ton of heart and I love watching them play, but when the Sharks on their game, it's something else.
