lol. Apparently, seabrook shoulda laid on the ice and then stayed out of the game. What a joke of a league. Even the NFL has their **** together better than this. The oft criticized NBA is also better and more consistent with **** like this. Shameful

Are they going to review the Edler elbow to the head? I didn't get to see a replay, but when I saw it live, it looked pretty bad and like he was headhunting.

How was that not a penalty? Didn't the ref have his arm up to call it, then the period ends and the start of the 3rd it was no penalty? Perhaps I'm misremembering but I was like, wait, wasn't there an elbowing penalty called?

That was a cheap crap elbow because Edler was the one with the puck, that was pure frustration there, should get a game IMO.

Maybe the ref wasn't in a good position to see the play go down? I honestly can't remember now, but that's all I can think of.

i just finished watching the game and live it looked like they bounced off each other then then they changed angles on the camera and you could see the elbow come up, maybe thats what the ref saw too brouwer coming in and just kind of bouncing off each other. idk it should atleast get reviewed

The end of the 2nd was pathetic and it looked like a riot was about to happen.

And in case anyone missed it: Brouwer decked Bieksa like he was a lightweight. I don't think you want to get Troy too upset.

I think AV told his players to stop the cheap stuff, as they were like lambs in the 3rd.

What a contrast between these two teams. Hawks playing with class and composure; good, hard but clean hockey and then you have the Canucks running around trying to injure people.

Last night's game could be summarized beautifully by one clean open ice hit on Sedin, by none other than Brian Campbell. Stopped Daniel in his tracks, and when I saw it, I thought: The Hawks are not losing this game!

THATS THE WAY THIS GAME SHOULD BE PLAYED. Well done Brian.

And there is no room in the game for this, NONE, but something tells me it will be overlooked. After all Bolland didn't give the soccer-style ice swim afterward:

so here's the plan-Brouwer takes care of edler, Scott takes bieksa out to the woodshed and whoops him and bickell gets hamhuis, Stalberg gets LaPierre and we'll save Torres til the regular season when he can really get his.

I thought a lot of it had to do with Scott playing about 10 minutes in the 3rd.

Scott keeps ********** in check.

Guys like Bieksa have no courage when Scott's on the ice. Bieksa's only tough when he can jump guys from behind. And then he got his face mashed by Brouwer.
