If Pronger is not 100% I don't really like the decision. I figured we brought him back because the series is tied now, but if he is taking slapshots in practice thats a great sign.

Panaccio reported that he was wincing when he took the slap shots so he probably still isn't ready.
That said, I won't be surprised if Master plays tonight.
With Carter and Nodl still out it wouldnt make any sense if he wasn't still in the line-up. I'm not sure he comes out at all anymore unless injured or severely ****ing **** up.

I was wondering about Nodl. Lavi seems to favor him over Z. His injury was only minor so I figured he might be ready to come back and take Z's spot.

I see where you are coming from, but I think Z has done admirably thus far since replacing Nodl. If Nodl is good to play then it would be Holmstrom sitting instead of Z in all likelihood. I just cant see Z taking a seat unless the team is 100% healthy at forward, and even then, can the team afford to take him out when the team has been shutout twice so far in this series? All questions Lavy will have to answer once the line-up is healthy.
He saw more time in game 4 then he did in game 3 which leads me to think Lavy may be seeing something he likes out of him.
As for Powe, I think moving him to play with Giroux and Van Reimsdyk is a good idea, he should give them some space to play with his physical presence.
Those two are just inches away from potting a few on a nightly basis so far this series, it will all fall in to place soon enough.
Also, our depth is pretty apparent right about now. It seems that the team has a bunch of cold players (Richards, Carter, Leino, Briere, Hartnell, some more then others) who arent contributing offensively on even a semi-regular basis, yet the team has put 9 past Miller for 2 wins. This team needs to find its firepower thats for sure.

I think Zherdev has played alright since being in the lineup against Buffalo thus far. Even though I think him and carter bolting out in attempt to get a scoring chance costed us (giving a 2 on 1 vs carle and only goal scored) but that has really been my only complaint about him.
I wish that this game is like Game 5 last year against Montreal or a game like back in 04 when Primeau took over the game and we just ripped Toronto a new one. And then we win a close one to close out the series on Sunday.
I just grow tired of these Buffalo fans and their so called "outworking us" bullcrap.
A couple more bounces and this series would have been over.
Just win tonight and win big, let those slugs cower back into the dirt they came from!

I really don't know what those people are watching. there's no point debating them.
I'd rather it be Carcillo with Richards and Versteeg and Zherdev with Giroux and JVR.
Powe supposedly with JvR-Giroux. Prefer: HBL/JvR-Giroux-Holmstrom/Zherdev-Richards-Versteeg.....putting Zherdev with Giroux and JvR is a monumental mistake, he was not good last game either, risky no-look passes to the top the point is not a good way to get the coaches endorsement.
