Hoping for the win Saturday as well. Heartbreaking loss last night. Plenty of room for improvement by both teams. Probably the lousiest played playoff game I've seen in a long time, by both teams.

starting to show that our older D like Spacek, Gill and Hammer are too old to fill in for our injured D, most looked out of gaz last two games, cant blame them as Hammer has been filling for Markov absence for over 1.5 season now, including last year playoffs, same for the other two filling for other injured D... and Sopel isnt getting any younger...

so, extra help from our forwards will be needed, they did it last year, they can do it this year for this round against a far from great opponent.

Maybe Martin wil get his head out of his ass and place Darche back on the Gomez line! Moen was responsible for three goals

Today is the day :

-The Bruins fans realize the series is only 2-2, no reason to party anymore.
-The habs fans realize the series is only 2-2, no reason to believe we will lose the next two games.

I look forward to the day Hamrlik, Spacek and Gomez are off this team.

And the day Pacioretty returns.

I found they played a bit too safe defensively at the Bell Center. Instead of applying pressure on the puck carries they let the Bruins skate in and bush back our D. They didnt play this carefully in Boston. It was constant pressure and the Habs often had 2players on the puck carrier. One on the defensive side of the puck, and the other player applying intense back pressure. If we contine this method, we will win games 5and 6, mark my words.

Habs quit playing with the intensity and desperation that is needed to win at home. They were playing "Too Comfortable" with their leads and let up, allowing the Bruins to get back into the game on several occasions and eventually allowing them to win.

Darche needs to be on that Gomez-Gionta line, Moen is brutal

ATM
Darche-Gomez-Gionta
Halpern-Desharnais-White
Pyatt-Eller-Weber

Why did Martin change it anyway?

Makes no sense, Darche has hands at least.

And the Moen, Eller and Pyatt line was doing well in a checking role.

The only reasoning I can give for Moen being on the Gomez line is that Darche is too beaten up or still ailing.

Honestly, if Habs score first.. just go back to what you're good at it.. and protect the lead and look for opportunistic chances..

Yesterday, we seem to have too much confidence on scoring.. and that left our D's to have to rush back... and eventually get scored on.

Will Spacek be in the lineup, cause if so that won't be easy.

At this point I'd see what Tinordi can do

The defense can't possibly play worse can they?? I mean they looked like they had 50lbs metallic skates, a bunch of slow headless chickens out of position. That was quite the show.

Let's hope the tides turn back to our side of the luck. We could have won both games we lost. I remember Bruins fans saying exactly the same thing after their two consecutive losses in Boston. Habs in 6 !

I think he felt that Moen matches up better vs Marchand than Darche

Will the Bruins be returning to Boston or staying in Lake Placid? How do you come home after saying that you went to Lake Placid to get away from fans and media?

So many times in the last two years with all of the injuries, during the regular season and playoffs, I have thought this team is going down. And it's just then that they seem to find a way.

After that Carolina loss near the end of the season I was pretty concerned about whether or not they'd make the playoffs and if they did it would surely be from the 8th spot. Somehow they righted the ship and only missed getting one point in the remaining four games.

Well Habs I guess you know what you have to do. Maybe you didn't "have" to win the last couple of games and you don't even "have" to win the next. I'd appreciate it if you'd just win the next couple of games so my heart is saved a few extra beats. I couldn't even watch the third period and OT last night.

And please put either Halpern or Darche with Gionta and Gomez. Watching Travis Moen botch up scoring chance after scoring chance is going to cost me a TV pretty soon.

Sorry, bud, but Darche has no hands, just like Moen. The reason he belongs with G&G is because he plays smart and KNOWS his limits while Moen thinks he can one-hand-on-the-stick-and-in-between-the-legs around defensemen.

I rather believe we won't win and be pleasantly surprised, than be heartbroken giving up a 2-0 series lead. Very very upset over the last 2 losses.

Victories feel better if you have faith in your team.
