If we play to the best of our ability and everyone else plays to theirs, I think we have a contender right now.

I surely think we have had no business losing to this team at all. I don't care about regular season BS. This team isn't better than us.

WILL
they come back? Who knows until tomorrow evening.

CAN they? Abso****inglutely.

I'm not sure, they definitely can do it, but the odds are against them.

Are they capable? Yes.

Is it very likely? No.

That said, I'll keep hoping until the end!

No way... The choke job last year does not matter, they lost because halak was hot and they couldn't win by playing a tight defensive game. This year the caps can win either way. The caps are a better team than last year, and the habs last year are better than the rags this year. They are gonna close out the series tomorrow...This year they know how important each game is...

Voted no. I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Rangers (it's really not that hard to type Caps fans, you can even type NYR which has less letters than 'Rags") win a game or two but the Caps wont lose 3 in a row

You forgot Caps in 5 at the end of your post like you did with every other one.

I love the Rangers. My allegiance to this team will never bend, will never be in jeopardy.

I just don't see it happening. A lot of teams that have suffered a soul crushing loss have been pretty much done.

If I'm wrong, I have no problem eating "Crow a l'Orange."

This team did not look very confident after Semin's goal the other night. I didn't think they had a chance to win this series going in, but I would have been singing a different tune had they finished Game 4 off in convincing fashion. After losing that game that way I won't be surprised to see them lose badly tomorrow. Unfortunately this series is over, but I really believe we have a lot to look forward to over the next couple of years.

I think they can push it to a game 7 but coming back all the way i'm 50/50 at best.

Right now, the only relevant question is, can we win a game in Washington?

For me, the answer is yes.

If we can do that, then there will be a new questions to ask.

Lundqvist will be on his game Saturday for sure. I was reading today in the Toronto Sun that Gaborik said he didn't realize that Hank was going for the puck. This means that Hank made a crucial error of not communicating with his teammates. If Lundqvist is even half the goalie I think he his, he will take the blame for that goal...... take it personally, and come back with the game of his life in response to his teammates.

Heart isn't the question at all. The talent is very questionable, but the team's heart is the only reason they're in the playoffs to begin with.

Lundqvist is always on his game, but the caps will come out fired up. They know what happened last year. In game 5 against Montreal they came out flat and ended up losing. That was the best chance they had to eliminate Montreal. I don't think they will make that mistake again this year. I don't think they want to go back to new York

I say No. That doesn't make me feel especially bad.

For some reason, I think they will win on Saturday. It will be because they are focussed so much on not doing what happened on Wednesday, which was getting mentally lazy and losing all of their edge.

After Saturday's win, it will be more than can be expected for NYR to play a mentally (the physical part of things is no problem at all) strong game for two additional games.

This is great experience for all the young guys, invaluable. Maybe guys like Prospal, Gaborik and possibly Drury (I don't really know if he should be given more offensive duties or not, but his faceoff percentage is really quite okay) can do something special.

Let's prolong the series a bit. Let's have fun!!

Well that's just silly. Having lived in the DC area for 8 years, I can say with great confidence that New York City is a far more enjoyable place to spend time.
