Leighton looked uncomfortable the entire time he was in net. This ****ing sucks.

You'd think almost 20 years of evidence would be enough. They won't do anything. This series would already be over with any sort of competence in net.

Wasn't really leightons fault. It was a horrible giveaway with no coverage in front. Again this is where Pronger would come in at. The reason why Pronger is a big deal is because he clears up the net area and especially when you have goalies(ours) that give juicy rebounds.

85% of teams that win game 5 in a 2-2 series go on to win the series.

Leighton has probably lost us another series.

No they weren't. We came out ready to go and then Boucher lets in two charmin soft goals in about 2 minutes and it basically deflated them

I love everyone complaining about the goal like it was some horrendous play. That rebound happens ten times a game for both teams. You tell me how it is even possible to make a kicking save like that and not give up a rebound.

I don't care to guess. I grew up in philly, and most fans down there quit after the going gets tough. I wish they'd just stop dragging the teams down with the negative tudes. It's quite pathetic.

If we lose, we lose, I saw people on here quitting after we were down 3-0 last year. My how it must hurt their ankles when they fall off the bandwagon, it's pathetic.

Too late to get a goalie now. Fact is, we've outplayed Buffalo on their home ice despite us splitting the two games in Buffalo. Now it's going to be interesting to see who starts game six.

What % of teams come back from a 3-0 deficit? Not time to give up yet! There is still hope.

I say bring Bob back for game 6.

Buffalo like Pittsburgh, is a team where the sum is greater than their parts. We are pretty much the complete opposite. Its just ironic that Pittsburgh is probably cruising to the second round while we golf and without their 2 superstars. Its bad enough we get ribbed, but imagine now when we get knocked out?

There's no way that you can be serious. He played two periods and stopped all but one shots. No blame on Boosh? None on whoever it was that blew that play at the end to not clear the zone? Yup all Leighton's fault for giving up a rebound that happens all the time.

It's what's so perplexing to me. The guys that run this team were members of the Cup winning teams of the 70's...where they had a solid goalie.

They just can't see the forest through the trees.

By kicking it into the corner, not the slot.

Thus, kick.

Who makes a kicking save on a ice level shot unscreened from the point?
Even Devan Dubnyk would have soaked that up with ease.
