The one thing that was nice to see was the Hawks after CC's rebounds. I remember Mighty Ducks 3 (when the Ducks are finally forced to play defense) the coach says something like we have to learn how to take out the trash. He dumps garbage in front of the net and makes them knock it away. It seemed the Hawks defensemen and forwards cleared every rebound out and deflected every pass towards the net. Great to see.

Nailed him 2x in the face. If the referee wasn't in the way Brouwer would've smoked him.

Sorry, if Crawford let those in this place would be calling for his head. He saw most of them, and stopped similar shots the first three games.

Luongo's glove hand has been weak this series and he hasn't stepped up

He is not the primary reason for there horrid play these last 2 games but he isn't helping them at all

great win hawks.

must be odd being defending champs and underdogs at the same time. but maybe that brings confidence, and takes off the pressure... = perfect combo?

From a Bruin's fan...

Congrats !! Impressive win over a team that was "the team to beat".

Good Luck in the rest of the series.

Smith is never going to be a big physical presence, but I love the grit in his game. Reminds me of a slower Versteeg

He may be slower but he's twice as smart with the puck. Versteeg was the turnover king.

I know some of you folks are out to make Luongo look bad but I can't see it. Yes, he could see the shot on the Hossa breakaway goal alright, but no goalie could stop that one. As for the shots from the point that went in, they simply didn't hit him because they were perfect shots, and one was tipped by Kane. It wasn't like he was out of position. I give Hawks full credit, and Luongo just happened to be in the net when they were playing their best hockey of the year.

At the other end, CC looked very comfortable and confident in the net. He even made some Marty Turco like plays with the puck. I hope he can keep playing like this.

Ben Smith is pure awesomeness. I remember when they brought him up earlier this year. I liked his game and was puzzled when they sent him down. He stands in front of the net, protects the pucks, works them out of the corners, hustles, can hit, and can score. What's not to like?

Coming from College hockey, he needed the grooming... but I think he may be here to stay.

Fixed, the kid got RUN OVER last night. had torres go after his knee, came back and got run into the boards, and it still didn't seem to knock him off his game. i'm gunna enjoy it when he gets a full time roster spot next year.

What is our record when trailing 3 games to 2? That is how we should look at it now.

I'd also like to throw in my huge support of Ben Smith. Kid is a warrior. He reminds me a bit of Arron Asham, and that's a good thing. Hopefully he can be even better.

Well unless my memory isn't as good as it once was the last time we faced 3-2 series obstacles we fell in 6 vs Avs in 97 and 96

After thinking about this, this reminds me a bit of Hugo Weaving acting Agent Smith in Matrix. He also doesn't change his face emotions.

Agent Smith
